CANFIELD

April 10

Drug possession: Police arrested Vincent Bivins, 26, of Miami, on a charge of drug possession, and Vincent Hall, 22, also of Miami, on charges of drug possession, receiving stolen property and improper handling of a firearm in a motor vehicle.

April 12

Warrant: Police arrested Jeffrey Shaw, 44, of Steel Street, Youngstown, on a warrant out of Columbiana County Sheriff’s Office after an investigation of suspicious males at Superior Car Wash, 44 Cardinal Drive.

April 14

Drug abuse: Police arrested Gavin Tareshawty,15, of Fairway Drive, Canfield, on charges of drug abuse and possession of drug paraphernalia.

April 15

Drug abuse: Police arrested Lonnie Johnson, 19, of state Route 30, Lisbon on a drug-abuse charge.

AUSTINTOWN

April 10

Theft: A cellphone was stolen from a home in the 100 block of North Main Street.

April 11

Theft: An Apple iPhone 6S was stolen from a locker at the Skate Zone, 5420 Mahoning Ave.

Criminal trespassing: Police arrested James Barfield, 43, homeless, at the TA Travel Center, 5400 Seventy-Six Drive.

Drug offense: Police arrested Nicholas Gibson, 27, of Avondale Avenue, Youngstown, on charges of promoting prostitution, possession of criminal tools, soliciting and possession of drug paraphernalia, and Oksana Wadja, 27, Cambridge Avenue, Youngstown, on charges of soliciting, possessing criminal tools and on a warrant out of Girard Municipal Court.

Warrant: Police arrested Erin Hallas, 34, of Washington Square, on a warrant for burglary.

Theft: A $100 credit card was taken from a home in the 3000 block of Highmeadow Drive.

April 12

Criminal damaging: Four door latches were broken off storage compartments at the Fairfield Inn, 801 N. Canfield-Niles Road.

Theft: A female suspect stole gift cards from Instant Cash for Gold, 4774 Mahoning Ave.

April 13

Theft: A total of $69.72 worth of merchandise was stolen from Walmart, 6001 Mahoning Ave.

Recovered property: A bicycle was recovered at a home in the 100 block of North Beverly Avenue.

Sex and drug offenses: Police arrested Megan Wright, 27, of Northwest Boulevard, Warren, on charges of promoting prostitution, soliciting, possession of criminal tools, possession of drug-abuse instruments and possession of drug paraphernalia. She was taken to St. Elizabeth Youngstown Hospital.

Sex and drug offenses: Police arrested Duane Strock, 65, of Arthur Northwest, Warren, on charges of possession of drug-abuse instruments and drug paraphernalia, promoting prostitution, possession of criminal tools and soliciting.

Sex and drug offenses: Police arrested Jessica Burkhart, 26, of Parkman Road, Warren, on charges of soliciting, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of criminal tools.

Theft: The identity of a person who lives in a home in the 2000 block of Hamman Drive was stolen to open a charge account.

Warrant: Police arrested Kirsten Adkins, 26, of New Road on a warrant for endangering children.

April 14

Warrant: Police arrested Ce’Aissa Mahone, 21, of Compass West on a warrant for assault.

Fraud: A man was a victim of fraudulent charges made to his account. He lives in the 1000 block of Old Farm Trail.

Theft: Aluminum was stolen from R&R Mach, 44 Victoria Road.

Warrant: Police arrested Michael Hamlett, 39, of Roslyn Drive, Youngstown, on a warrant for assault.

Officer injury: An officer was bitten by a dog in the 2000 block of South Canfield-Niles Road.

Assault: A victim was struck in the head area at Walmart.

April 15

Obstructing official business: Police arrested William Lewis, 20, of Colgate Avenue on a charge of obstructing official business at JR’Z Pub, 1722 S. Raccoon Road.

Theft: A woman had her purse taken from a motorized cart at Walmart.

Warrant: Police arrested Daniel Bowers, 29, of Rosedale Avenue, Youngstown, on a warrant for domestic violence and domestic violence warrants from two years ago.

Assault: A woman told police she was assaulted by her sister-in-law at Austinwoods Nursing Home, 4780 Kirk Road.

Theft: Police arrested Tina Pezzent, 37, of Ridgelawn Avenue, Youngstown, on a theft charge. Police accuse her of taking $59.71 in merchandise from Walmart.

Overdose: A female was transported to St. Elizabeth Youngstown Hospital after overdosing at a home in the 4000 block of Kirk Road. Narcan was used by Austintown police to revive her.

April 16

Warrant: Police arrested Jedediah Hill, 32, of Brookfield Avenue, Boardman, on a warrant for domestic violence at Hollywood Gaming at Mahoning Valley Race Course.

Drug offense: Police arrested D’Anthony Brown, 23, of East Midlothian Boulevard, Youngstown, on charges of obstructing official business and possession of drugs, and Cametrius Adams, 23, of Hawthorne Street, Youngstown, on a charge of possession of drugs.

Warrant: Police arrested Darchel Roper, 21, of North Federle Drive, Warren, on a warrant for theft.

Lost or stolen property: A vehicle’s front Ohio license plate was lost or stolen. It was parked at a home in the 3000 block of Oakleigh Street.
