v Opera one-acts, 7:30 p.m.: Youngstown State University presents Mozart’s “The Impresario” and Menotti’s “The Medium” ($16, $8 for non-YSU students and senior citizens) at Ford Theater, inside Bliss Hall; call 330-941-3105.

v “Twelfth Night,” 7:30 p.m.: Victorian Players Theater presents the Shakespeare comedy ($13, $10 for students and seniors). The theater is at 702 Mahoning Ave., Youngstown; 330-746-5455.

v Margaret Atwood, 7 p.m.: The author of “The Edible Woman,” “The Handmaid’s Tale” and “The Robber Bride” will speak at Stambaugh Auditorium, 1000 Fifth Ave., Youngstown. It’s free, but tickets are required. Get them at, by phone at 330-259-0555 or at the box office.

“20/20” (10 p.m., ABC): On a special edition of “20/20,” Diane Sawyer catches up with Caitlyn Jenner two years after their groundbreaking prime-time interview. The former Olympian discusses how her life has gone since making her gender transition.

Poker run helps children’s hospital


The eighth annual Children’s Miracle Network Fun Ride and Poker Run will be May 28. All proceeds benefit Akron Children’s Hospital Mahoning Valley, Beeghly Campus, Boardman.

Route maps and rules will be available at registration starting at 10 a.m. at BikeTown Harley-Davidson, off state Route 46. The ride will begin at noon and will include three card stops along a scenic route of approximately 75 miles. The route ends at Social 45, Lisbon, where there will be food and refreshments, two bands and a silent auction.

The cost is $15 per motorcycle; $5 per passenger. In case of rain, go to Social 45 at 3:30 p.m. Motorcycles not mandatory to participate.
