The River Rock at the Amp concert series will begin May 27 and run through Sept. 2, bringing 14 evenings of music on Fridays and Saturdays to the Warren Community Amphitheater.
The tribute and cover bands span classic rock, country, reggae, disco, pop and modern rock and includes the return of several favorites.
Concerts take the stage rain or shine. Guests can sit in the amphitheater or bring lawn chairs or blankets. The festival-like events always include a variety of food and drink vendors, and alcohol sales.
Gates open at 5 p.m. (earlier on Aug. 5). Headliners take the stage at 8:30 p.m., with the opening act starting at 5:30 p.m. Admission is $8 ($9 on July 15); free for children 12 and under with an adult. Tickets will be sold at the gate, and in advance at RiverRockattheAmp.com and at the Sunrise Inn, 510 E. Market St. Parking is free at Perkins Park, the Franklin Street parking deck and other public lots. There is also on-site motorcycle parking.
The amphitheater is at 321 Mahoning Ave. NW, downtown.
