Jennings Center offers archery course

SLIPPERY ROCK, PA.

Jennings Environmental Education Center, 2951 Prospect Road, is again offering an Introduction to archery course by certified archery instructors from 1 to 3 p.m. next Sunday.

This is an opportunity for any adult or children 12 and older who wants to learn how to shoot a bow. The course will include range safety rules and orientation, equipment orientation, the steps involved in shooting and lots of practice.

It will take place on the prairie side of the park near the pavilion. Participants must register online at www.dcnr.state.pa.us/stateparks/findapark/jennings by Friday.
