A summary of police activity in the city of Canfield and Austintown:

CANFIELD

Aug. 29

Warrants: Police arrested Maribeth Ensign, 52, of Palmyra Road, North Jackson on several warrants out of various Mahoning County Courts.

Aug. 30

Drug possession: Police arrested Brandi Miller, 34, of Stewart Drive, Warren, on a charge of drug possession.

Receiving stolen property: Police arrested Jacqueline Duffy, 34, of Idlewood Road, Austintown, on a charge of receiving stolen property.

Sept. 1

Drug abuse: Police arrested Kyle Pakalnis, 23, of Willow Way, Canfield, on charges of drug abuse and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Sept. 2

Loose dog: Police cited Beverly Revak, 57, of Callahan Road, Canfield, for letting her dog run loose.

Sept. 3

Drug abuse: Police arrested Anthony Cole, 18, of Neff Drive on a charge of drug abuse.

AUSTINTOWN

Aug. 29

Animal complaint: A woman was bitten on the back by a dog in the 780 block of North Beverly Avenue.

Animal complaint: A 7-year-old boy was bitten on the face and arm by a dog in the 6000 block of Harvest Ridge Drive.

Aug. 30

Criminal damaging: A chicken and rocks were thrown at a vehicle at parked a home in the 400 block of South Raccoon Road.

Arrest: Police arrested Ashley Campbell, 30, of Risher Road, Youngstown, on charges of soliciting prostitution and possession of criminal tools at Austintown Inn, 5431 Seventy-Six Drive.

Theft: Police issued a summons to Amy Hahn, 36, of Woodglen Avenue, Niles, on a theft charge. Police accused her of a theft at Walmart, 6001 Mahoning Ave.

Criminal damaging: A rear-car window was damaged at GetGo, 5163 Mahoning Ave.

Theft: Police arrested Teasia May,19, of Ridge Avenue, Youngstown, on a theft charge. Police accused her of taking $97.38 in clothing and candy at Dollar General, 2002 S. Raccoon Road.

Sex offense: Police arrested Casey Torres, 31, of Cleveland on charges of solicitation of prostitution, possession of criminal tools, promoting prostitution and drug abuse of oxycodone, and Brittany Miller, 30, of Cleveland on charges of soliciting prostitution, possession of criminal tools and drug abuse of oxycodone.

Aug. 31

Criminal damaging: A 2015 Chevrolet Malibu was damaged in the driveway of a home in the 3000 block of Tall Oaks Lane.

Criminal damaging: A tire was cut on a 2005 Chevrolet truck at a home in the 3000 block of Cannon Road.

Theft: A handgun was stolen from a home in the 4000 block of Deer Creek Court.

Lost or stolen property: A cellphone was lost or stolen at Greenwood Chevrolet, 4695 Mahoning Ave.

Fraud: Unauthorized charges were reported at a home in the 4000 block of Burkey Road.

Sept.1

Theft: A purse was stolen from an auto parked at a home in the 1000 block of County Line Road.

Theft: $2,200 was paid for a vehicle that was never received at a home in the 4000 block of Crum Road.

Theft: A woman is a suspect in a theft at Giant Eagle, 5220 Mahoning Ave.

Sept. 2

Warrant: Police arrested James Walker, 34, of Park Heights Avenue, Youngstown, on a warrant for failure to appear on a traffic charge.

Identity theft: An account was opened without authorization at a home in the 500 block of Purdue Avenue

Criminal trespassing: Police arrested Harold Charron, 42, of Lafayette Street, Youngstown, on a charge of criminal trespassing at Pilot Oil,1150 N. Niles-Canfield Road.

Sept. 3

Vehicle theft: A 2002 Ford Explorer was taken from the driveway of a home in the 4000 block of Westmont Drive.

Drug offense: Marijuana was recovered from a room at Country Inn Suites, 5570 Interstate Blvd.

Warrant: Police arrested Robert Bingham, 33, of Wheelock Drive, Warren, on a warrant for domestic violence at a home in the 3000 block of Riblett Road.

Burglary: A Marlin .22 caliber rifle was taken from a garage of a home in the 4000 block of Lake Road.

Auto theft/recovered property: A 2000 Pontiac Grand Am was stolen from a home in the 800 block of Compass West and later recovered by Youngstown police.

Theft: A machine was tampered with at the Skating Zone, 5420 Mahoning Ave., and tokens were taken.

Theft: $10,000 in Amazon gift cards were stolen from a home in the 2000 block of Whispering Pines.

Theft: A front Ohio license plate was stolen from an auto parked in the 500 block of South Raccoon Road.

Theft: Unauthorized charges totaling $474.24 were reported at a home in the 900 block of Compass West.

Sept. 4

Theft/recovered property: A credit card was stolen at Sheetz gas station, 5499 Mahoning Ave., and was later recovered and returned.

Criminal damaging: A garage door was damaged at a home in the 3000 block of Artmar Drive.

Warrant: Police arrested Lisa Altman, 44, of Jaguar Drive, Boardman, on warrants for failure to appear on a probation violation and for theft of two DVDs valued at $34.98 from Giant Eagle.

Theft: Between $3,000 and $4,000 in cash was reported stolen from a home in the 3000 block of Polley Drive.

Warrant: Police arrested Nicole Hester, 21, of Crandall Avenue, Youngstown, on a warrant for theft and misuse of a credit card.
