Dominion restores gas service after Boardman gas line break

BOARDMAN — Dominion East Ohio Gas has restored the utilities for 20 of the 27 customers on Vineland Place affected by the gas line shut off after a leak this morning.

After repairing the broken gas line around 12:30 p.m., Dominion workers visited every customer’s house affected by the shut off to test all gas appliances and restore their utilities.

For the seven customers Dominion couldn’t reach, informational cards were left at their residences to contact them as soon as possible.

Dominion East Ohio Gas began working at 9:30 a.m. after receiving a call that Youngstown Water Department workers accidentally broke a main gas line.
