Oktoberfest returns to Liberty
Oktoberfest Youngstown will return this weekend for three days of German food, music and fun at Colonial Plaza, 3135 Belmont Ave.
The event, presented by Kravitz Deli, will take place under a giant tent in the plaza parking lot at Kravitz. Admission is free, but a good-will donation to the Autism Society of the Mahoning Valley is encouraged.
Hours are 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday.
The family-friendly festival will feature ethnic bands, authentic German food and beer, Rhine wine tastings, games, contests, raffles and exhibitions.

5 to 9 p.m.: Pete Karsti and Eintract
Best of Bavaria: Food specials
1 to 5 p.m.: Aaron Dussing and Polka Revolution
6 to 9 p.m.: Phil Yan
Bavarian brunch: (Options include potato pancakes, German sausage, Belgian waffles, brats and eggs)
1 to 5 p.m.: Saxon Brass Band
