“CMA Country Christmas” (8 p.m., ABC): Jennifer Nettles returns for the seventh time to host this annual holiday hoedown from the Grand Ole Opry House in Nashville. Performers will include Idina Menzel, Amy Grant, Brad Paisley, Brett Eldredge, Kelly Clarkson, Andra Day and Loretta Lynn.

“Timeless” (10 p.m., NBC): “Timeless” joins the space race as Flynn tries to rewrite the events of the historic Apollo 11 moon landing.

Toy donors can get Disney on Ice ticket

YOUNGSTOWN

Disney on Ice is partnering with Making Kids Count to help brighten the holiday season for area children.

A ticket voucher redeemable for tickets to see Disney on Ice’s Passport to Adventure show at Covelli Centre will be given in exchange for the donation of a new, unwrapped toy. The toys will be given to Making Kids Count’s Holiday Adopt-A-Family Program.

The toy drive will take place Saturday from 10 a.m. to noon at Making Kids Count, 7178 West Blvd., Suite E, Boardman.

Families will receive one ticket voucher per donation, and are allowed up to two vouchers per family. Vouchers can be redeemed for tickets at the Covelli box office, 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. A total of 200 ticket vouchers are available.

There will be eight performances of Disney on Ice at Covelli: Dec. 21 at 8 p.m.; Dec. 22 at 3 and 7 p.m.; Dec. 23 at 11 a.m. and 7 p.m.; Dec. 24 at 11 a.m. and 3 p.m.; and Dec. 25 at 1 p.m. Tickets are available at the Covelli box office and at ticketmaster.com.

Behind the scenes at Christmas Past

The Mahoning Valley Historical Society will have a behind the scenes tour of its Memories of Christmas Past exhibit with exhibit designer Anthony Worrellia at 5 p.m. Dec. 6 at The Arms Family Museum, 648 Wick Ave. Cost is $15 ($12 for MVHS members). For reservations, call 330-743-2589.
