Irish tenor Cahill in concert at cathedral

Emmet Cahill will bring his Christmas tour to St. Columba Cathedral, 100 W. Wood St., on Dec. 9 for an 8 p.m. concert.

The Irish-born tenor will sing seasonal favorites that recall his childhood memories of Christmas in Ireland. The program will include “Danny Boy,” “The Wexford Carol,” “I’ll Take You Home Again Kathleen,” “O Holy Night,” “Silent Night” and more.

Cahill is best-known as a principal singer with the Irish music show Celtic Thunder. He will release his debut album in February.
