A statewide Day of Eucharistic Adoration for Vocations is planned Wednesday as the Catholic Church throughout the United States celebrates National Vocation Awareness Week, Nov. 6-12. Catholic parishes in Ohio will be united as one voice in prayer for an increase in priestly and religious vocations. Special booklets of prayer and reflection will be offered at each location. For information, contact the Office of Vocations, Diocese of Youngstown, 330-744-8451, or send email to the Rev. Christopher Luoni, vocation director, at cluoni@youngstowndiocese.org. In the Catholic Diocese of Youngstown, prayer is planned at the following locations.

Ashtabula County: St. Joseph Calasanctius Church, 32 E. Jefferson St., Jefferson, from 4 to 7 p.m.

Columbiana County: Our Lady of Lourdes Church, 200 E. Main St., East Palestine, from 9 to 10 a.m.

Mahoning County: St. Nicholas Church in Christ our Savior Parish, 764 Fifth St., Struthers, from 9:30 a.m. to 8 p.m., and St. Christine Church, 3165 S. Schenley Ave., Youngstown, adoration from 4:15 to 5:15 p.m. followed by a Mass.

Portage County: St. Peter of the Fields, 3487 Old Forge Road, Rootstown, 9 a.m. to noon.

Stark County: St. Joseph Church, 322 Third St. SE, Massillon, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Walsh University Chapel, 2020 E. Maple St., North Canton, 9:15 to 10:15 p.m.

Trumbull County: Sts. Cyril and Methodius, 1234 High St. NE, Warren, 2 to 4 p.m., and St. Rose Church, 49 E. Main St., Girard, 9:30 a.m. to noon.
