A 21-year-old man who could face the death penalty if convicted of the 2014 murder of an Austintown teenage girl was indicted by a Mahoning County grand jury on charges he harassed five corrections officers and an inmate at the county jail.
Ricki Williams, 21, of Lansdowne Boulevard, was indicted Thursday on six counts of harassment with a bodily substance, a felony.
An indictment did not get into specific detail on what Williams did, but it did say five of the victims were county sheriff’s deputies working as corrections officers and one inmate July 6.
The grand jury also indicted another jail inmate, Andre Edwards, 19, on one count of harassment with a bodily substance for a Sept. 29 incident at the jail where the victim was a corrections officer.
