Ohio flags at half-staff to honor John Glenn

COLUMBUS — Gov. John R. Kasich today ordered that flags be flown at half-staff upon all public buildings and grounds throughout the state effective immediately until sunset on the day of John Glenn’s interment, in honor of the life and service of Glenn, the first American to orbit the Earth when he was an astronaut, and a longtime U.S. senator.

Glenn died Thursday at the age of 95.
