‘Traficant’ film now available on DVD

The documentary film “Traficant: The Congressman of Crimetown” is now available on DVD. To order, go to traficant-movie.com. The price is $15, and delivery is guaranteed before Christmas.

The 90-minute documentary by Valley filmmaker Eric Murphy chronicles the political life of the late U.S. Rep. Jim Traficant. The colorful and controversial lawmaker represented the Youngstown area.

The film premiered in March 2015 at the Cleveland International Film Festival. It includes interviews with actor Ed O’Neill, former boxing champion Ray “Boom Boom” Mancini, U.S. Rep. Tim Ryan and others.

The Collector’s Edition DVD also includes several bonus featurettes:

“Traficant & Football”: Extended interviews with O’Neill, Ryan, Judge Ed Cox and Jim Tressel.

“Jimbo’s Art School”: Interviews of Traficant’s farm neighbors, who curated his original artwork.
