Vice squad recovers pills, heroin and guns

YOUNGSTOWN

Members of the vice squad Wednesday served two search warrants investigating drug activity.

Two people were taken into custody about 4:55 p.m. at a 538 Cameron Ave. home where a small amount of suspected heroin and pills were found. Dasean Miller, 22, who lists the home as his address, was booked into the Mahoning County jail on a charge of possession of heroin and is expected to be arraigned in municipal court today.

Issued a citation for possession of drugs was Jazzmine Campbell, 26, who also lists the home as her address. She is free on bond after her arraignment Thursday in municipal court.

About 5:55 p.m. at a 220 E. Philadelphia Ave. home, police found suspected marijuana, heroin, pills and two .38-caliber revolvers. Darnell Williams, 26, who lists the home as his address, was taken to the jail on a charge of possession of heroin. He is expected to be arraigned in municipal court today.
