YOUNGSTOWN — One of two suspects charged today with a July 15 homicide was arrested by U.S. Marshals at his home just hours after he left municipal court, where he waived a preliminary hearing in a drug case.
Akeem Brown, 26, was taken into custody this afternoon by U.S. Marshals at his Shady Run Road home on the South Side on a charge of aggravated murder for the death of Anthony Bianco, 51, of Masury, who was found in a burning car July 15 at Seifert and Knapp avenues on the East Side.
An autopsy found that Bianco had been shot.
The second suspect in the case, Destaney Phillips, 21, is already in the Mahoning County jail on unreleated charges.
