4 dead, 2 hurt after trailer home fire, collapse in SE Ohio


SUGAR GROVE, Ohio (AP) — Authorities in southeast Ohio say four people died in an early morning trailer home fire today.

The Fairfield County sheriff’s assistant says a toddler is among those who died. Two more people were taken to hospitals from the village of Sugar Grove, nearly 40 miles southeast of Columbus.

Authorities say the trailer collapsed during the fire, and a search is continuing for possible other victims.

The sheriff’s office says the fire was first reported at 4:17 a.m.

The cause of the fire is unknown and under investigation.
