With 27 points, Alexis Sallee powered the Falcons to the overtime victory. Aaliyah Sadler scored 14 points and Alyson Mukaabya nine. Emily Manion’s 24 points helped the Eagles outscore the Falcons 20-13 in the fourth quarter to force overtime. Logan Nitsche scored 15 points and Michelle Peachock nine.
Liberty 64, Champion 54
Amy Mikulich scored 26 points to lead the Leopards. Also scoring in double figures were Marcy Dykes with 12 points and Maleah Schiavone with 10. For the Golden Flashes, Molly Williams scored 25 points and Megan Turner 13.
Cardinal Mooney 64, Lakeside 35
Jaclyn Yankle scored 19 points and made 12 rebounds for the Cardinals (7-10). Also scoring in double figures were Kelly Williams with 12 and Renee Santisi with 10.
Columbiana 85, Southern 35
Baylie Mook scored 24 points and made for steals for the Clippers (17-3, 12-1 Inter Tri-County League Tier Two). Emily Witmer scored 18 points and Brynn Pennel 12. Lauren Schlueter made eight rebounds and scored nine points.
Western Reserve 85, Sebring 35
Rachel Maslach scored 22 points as the Blue Devils (13-6, 11-1 ITCL Tier Two) won their eighth-straight game. They are a half-game behind Columbiana in the race for first place, with a game in hand. Aleah Hughes scored 15 points and made 12 rebounds, six assists and five steals. Alexis Hughes made eight rebounds. For the Trojans, Sydney Smith scored 12 points.
Wellsville 46, Lowellville 37
Destiny Crow and Ashley Bennett each scored 10 points to lead the Tigers (7-11, 5-6 ITCL Tier Two). Bennett also made seven rebounds. For the Rockets (6-12, 5-6), Sami Chiclowe scored 12 points.
McDonald 65, Leetonia 26
Sara Joseph led all scorers with 19 points in McDonald’s run away win. Breanna Rupe added 12 points for the Blue Devils (8-9). Kristy Eckman scored six points for the Bears (5-11).
South Range 88, United 40
Maddie Durkin scored 19 points to lead five Raiders (16-2, 12-0 ITCL Tier One) in double figures. Other top scorers are Morgan Czopur with 17, Ashley Sharp with 15, Sara Durr with 14 and Jordan Youngs with 12. For the Eagles, Jenna Plummer scored 10.
Crestview 49, Springfield 45
Emily Ferris scored 21 points, as Crestview hung on to top Springfield. Alexis Gates added eight for the Rebels (8-10). Callie Ford was the game’s leading scorer with 23 points for the Tigers (10-7).
Mineral Ridge 49, Jackson-Milton 45
Alyssa Harkins scored 18 points and made eight rebounds and three steals for the Rams (12-5, 7-4 ITCL Tier One). Breanna Miner scored 13 points while Kayla Governor made seven rebounds. For the Bluejays, Kaitlin Totani’s 15 points included four 3-pointers. Ashley Totantii scored 13 points.
Lisbon 35, East Palestine 29
Karlee Pezzano scored 10 points and Taylor Siefke added nine, as Lisbon topped East Palestine. The Blue Devils (10-9, 5-7) held East Palestine to single digits each quarter. The Bulldogs were led by Haley Hall’s 10 points.
