East Liverpool City Hospital has reached a tentative agreement with leaders from the East Liverpool Nurses Association.
The hospital and the union made the announcement Wednesday.
The nurses will vote on the new proposal within the next few days. The nurses have been working under the conditions of the previous contract since June 1.
No details of the pact were released, pending the vote.
The nurses turned down an offer in late June. In May, the nurses issued a 10-day strike notice, which forced the hospital to halt admissions and adjust patient services.
The nurses rescinded the strike notice May 30, and negotiations resumed.
