Cub Scout Round-Ups look for new members

Published: Thu, September 4, 2014 @ 5:14 a.m.

Staff report

Cub Scouting, a year-round family program, is for boys in first through fifth grades or 6 through 10 years old. It is the largest of the three traditional programs of Boy Scouts of America, with about 1.7 million boys and their families throughout the United States.

The beginning of the school year is the traditional time for joining, but a boy can join at any time. During September, local Cub Scout Packs in Mahoning County and Hubbard are hosting recruitment nights, called Round-Ups, which give boys and their families a chance to experience a little of the Cub Scout fun and adventure.
