Chesapeake Energy Corp. reported financial and operational results for the 2014 third quarter Nov. 5. The company reported adjusted net income of $0.38 per fully diluted share and adjusted earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization of $1.236 billion; average production of approximately 726,000 barrels of oil equivalent per day and capital expenditures of $1.351 billion.
Halcon Resources Corp. announced its third-quarter 2014 results and provided a preliminary 2015 outlook Nov. 10.
Halcon generated revenues of $306.5 million for the three months that ended Sept. 30. Production increased 16 percent quarter over the prior year quarter to an average of 43,554 barrels of oil equivalent per day. Third-quarter 2014 production was 82 percent oil, 8 percent natural-gas liquids and 10 percent natural gas.
EV Energy Partners earnings for Q3
EV Energy Partners adjusted earnings for the third quarter of 2014 was $61.9 million. Production for the third quarter was 11 billion cubic feet of natural gas, 270 million barrels of oil and 593 million barrels of natural-gas liquids.
Rex Energy earnings

Rex Energy Corp. announced its third-quarter 2014 operational and financial results Nov. 4.
Operating revenue from continuing operations for the three and nine months ended Sept. 30 was $86.5 million and $269.2 million, respectively. Commodity revenues, including settlements from derivatives, were $76.5 million and $223.4 million, respectively, for the three and nine months ended Sept. 30.
Third-quarter 2014 production volumes were 169.7 million cubic feet, consisting of 107.0 million cubic feet of natural gas and 10.4 millions of barrels of oil and natural gas liquids. Oil and NGLs (including ethane) accounted for 37 percent of net production during the third quarter.
NEW CASTLE, Pa.
NiSource Midstream Services recently presented a $40,000 donation to the Lawrence County Career and Technical Center and a $10,000 donation to the Lawrence County School to Work Program at a luncheon at the Career and Technical Center in New Castle.
The donations are part of an effort to aid in the funding of career awareness and gas industry related information for young adults in western Pennsylvania and eastern Ohio.
