SPECIAL TO THE VINDICATOR Ursuline Center receives $20,000 grant for project The Youngstown Foundation recently awarded the Ursuline Center in Canfield a $20,000 grant for its Motherhouse pool ministry new roof project. Jan Strasfeld, right, executive director of the Youngstown Foundation, presented the check to Sister Nancy Dawson, OSU, general superior of the Ursuline Sisters of Youngstown. The center is the education facility operated by the Ursuline Sisters of Youngstown. The roof project is part of a two-phase renovation that will cost a total of more than $66,000. Donations are welcome for this project and for a new heating project to replace the entire HVAC system for approximately $115,000.
