AUCTIONS

Canfield Republican Women’s Club is sponsoring a Quarter Auction Fundraiser on June 5 at A La Cart Catering, 429 Lisbon St., Canfield. Doors open at 5 p.m., and the auction begins at 6. Tickets for $15 each are limited and must be bought in advance. They include Bidding Paddle, hors d’oeuvres, dessert, coffee and iced tea. Reserved tables are available for groups of eight or nine. BINGO, CARD PARTIES

St. Rose Big Bingo Night will take place Friday at St. Rose School, 61 E. Main St. Doors will open at 6 p.m., and bingo starts at 6:30. Tickets are $55 each, call the church rectory at 330-545-4351. There will be a $6,000 payout, six door prizes of $100 each and a bonus door prize of $200 in instant lottery tickets; winner-takes-all tickets are $3. The buffet comprises pasta and meatballs, chicken, potatoes, green beans, salad and homemade bread.

CRAFT SHOWS

Celebrate Poland will take place from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. June 28. Vendors are needed. Art, crafts and nonprofit groups are needed for the annual craft show. Registration fee is $30 for a 10-by-15 outdoor space. Call Barbara Banks at 330-757-4584 for a contract and more information.

Salem Kiwanis Club will host its 50th Antique and Craft Show from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. July 19 in Centennial Park on East Pershing Street. FASHION SHOWS

Living Testimonies Ministries, 34 Jacobs Road, Youngstown, will host its 4th annual spring fashion show fundraiser from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday. Tickets are $10 for adults, $4 for children 6 to 12 and free for those 5 and under. Lunch will be served at 1 p.m., and the show will follow. For tickets call 330-623-1321.

FUNDRAISERS

Avalon Golf and Country Club, Squaw Creek, 761 Youngstown-Kingsville Road, Vienna, will host the annual Pink Ribbon Golf Classic on July 14. The 18-hole four-person scramble will be followed by lunch and a basket auction and raffle. Registration and continental breakfast begin at 8 a.m., and play will get underway with a shotgun start at 9. All proceeds from this event will benefit the American Cancer Society. SALES

Hubbard Junior Garden Club will have a plant and bake sale from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday in the Hubbard City Building parking lot, 220 W. Liberty St. Funds generated will be used for community beautification projects. Contact Marti Altier at 330-534-9232 for additional information.

Lockwood United Methodist Women are sponsoring a rummage sale from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday and from 9 a.m. to noon Friday at the church, 4570 Lockwood Blvd., Youngstown.

Mahoning County Junior Fair Board will sponsor a trunk sale at the Canfield Fairgrounds in the Junior Fair Area from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. June 7. Both indoor and outdoor vendor locations are available. New activities for 2014 will be a cornhole tournament, live music, a petting zoo and refreshments.

Ohltown United Methodist Church, 2001 Ohltown Road, Austintown, across from Meander Bridge, will have its semiannual Trash and Treasure and Bake Sale from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday. Lunch will be available. For information call 330-652-1596 or 330-652-6614.

Poland Lions Club will host a Garage Sale and Basket Raffle Fundraiser from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at the Poland Masonic Lodge, 7685 Youngstown-Pittsburgh Road. Also featured will be more than 30 valuable gift baskets. The drawing will be at 2 p.m., and the winners need not be present. Pastries and coffee will be available. St. Rose Church Catholic Women’s Club is sponsoring a rummage and bake sale from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday in the St. Rose rectory garage, 48 E. Main St., Girard. Items will include household goods, collectibles, clothing, seasonal decorations and more.

Struthers Parkside Church, 110 Poland Ave., is sponsoring a rummage sale from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday. There will be toys, books, household items and more. Lunch and baked goods will be sold, and drawings will take place. Winners do not need to be present.

TOPS 2191, Austintown, is sponsoring a Spring Craft Show from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at Wickliffe Presbyterian Church, 45 Idlewood Road, Austintown. Vendors are welcome. Tables are $20 each. Call 330-774-1803 for details.

TRIPS

Holy Apostles Parish, St. Stephen of Hungary Church, Altar and Rosary Society is sponsoring a bus trip to Meadows Casino on Sunday. The cost is $30 per person and includes snacks on the bus. For reservations call 330-783-2252 or 330-792-0877.
