WARREN

Guy Fragle, 71, of Hummingbird Lane in Sharpsville, Pa., has pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor charge of failing to pay tipping fees to the state for his company, Total Waste Logistics of Bundy Avenue in Girard.

Fragle appeared in the courtroom of Judge Ronald Rice of Trumbull County Common Pleas Court on Thursday, where he agreed to immediately pay $100,000 in restitution for the unpaid tipping fees.

Such fees are paid by garbage haulers to Total Waste Logistics, which in turn was supposed to pay the fees to the state of Ohio.

A $10,000 fine will be dismissed, and Fragle’s two-year probation will end early if he complies with the payment terms, court officials said.

The Trumbull County Prosecutor’s office handled the case in concert with the Ohio Attorney General’s Office and Ohio Environmental Protection Agency, charging Fragle with the offense through what is called a bill of information, which doesn’t require an indictment.

IF WE ONLY KNEW! " Tipping fees go straight to the state! " from his company. Of course he collects that from the garbage haulers, but unless they find extra money in their stops, the customer pays this. ANOTHER hidden tax on the people, that most have no idea that the state is collecting. The taxpayer pays to the state on all income ( income tax), then the state collects again on every dime you spend ( sales ) and then the hidden tax ( that which you spend on services which you pay tax on tax again.
States tax on gross income, feds tax on gross income, you pay tax on the money they each collect, and the vicious cycle continues,, but they are all out of money and want more, and the state always goes after the bottom guy to squeeze more out of them, but when the corruption occurs in the government level, they let them go, with a well done and here is extra to help you get over this, then they usually just get rehired somewhere else in the system.
