Too bad that Mahoning County has another black eye. That being said I agree with loroller. Millich helped me and my family with our probate issues. He would have my vote.

The Headline should read, "Bellinky resigns and hangs his head in shame"

Judge Millich would be great in the probate court, or any court. Unfortunately he is a democrat, so Kasich won't be appointing him. Judge Hunter is great with probate issues and has a proven track record of efficiency. The only downside I see to a Hunter appointment would be his ballot status come November. I could be wrong, but I think whatever Republican is appointed would have to run as an independent as the filing deadlines have passed. Either way, Hunter getting the appointment, being on the ballot in November and beating Maruca would be the best way to restore the probate court to normalcy.

I meant to ask, who is next to be indicted?

I don't think Hunter would be a good canidate.. He has a lot of skeletons in his closet.. He just hasn't been caught yet.. .but he will all in due time....

On another note... back in the day... .before you had to be a lawyer... anyone could run for judge.. and they were a much better pool of people that lawyers.. most lawyers are crooked... and cut deals.. thats whats wrong with this valley... everyone wants to cut a deal... nothing is clear cut... right is wrong in somecases and wrong is right in other cases... I would like to see it go back to where a normal person could run for a judgeship... and not have to be a lawyer.... they changed this back in the mid 60s.. why cann't it be changed back....

What do you mean "I just think we deserve better than the choices we are being given."

Nothing prevented Millich, or anyone else, from doing the paperwork to get on the ballot. If you are unsatisfied that you can't vote for Millich, blame him.
