Natural-gas fueling station in works

WEATHERSFIELD

IGS CNG Services broke ground Wednesday on the first compressed natural- gas fueling station to come to the Mahoning Valley.

The station, at the Mr. Fuel station in Trumbull County, is IGS’s second in Ohio. It will join the company’s network of stations that includes locations in Dublin and three stations in West Virginia.

State lawmakers have introduced bills to provide tax incentives to help public and private fleets convert to the more-affordable gas alternative.

Hummel Gift Shop to close Saturday

NEW SPRINGFIELD

The figurine and collectibles store Hummel Gift Shop will close Saturday after four decades.

Owners David and Fran May would like to invite customers to stop into the store, at 1656 E. Garfield Road, this week to thank them for the years of support.

Hummel Gift Shop is open from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. today and Friday and from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, its final day in business.
