Boar’s Head Ladies of St. John’s Episcopal Church, 323 Wick Ave., will serve a chicken dinner from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. today at the church. The cost is $7. No reservations are necessary. For takeouts or to order ahead, call the church at 330-743-3175.

Canfield Christian Church, 123 S. Broad St., will serve a Lenten breakfast from 6:30 to 9:30 a.m. Donations will be accepted. For information call 330-533-2246.

Martin Luther Lutheran Church, 420 Clearmont Drive, Youngstown, will sell soup from 1 to 2 p.m. Wednesdays through Lent. Today’s sale will feature beef vegetable for $6 per quart. For information call 330-788-8707.

THURSDAY

Calvary United Methodist Church, 12062 South Ave. Ext., North Lima, will serve a drive-through chicken dinner from 3:30 to 6 p.m. (or until sold out). The cost is $6. Drive up to the door, and a volunteer will take the meal to your car. Call 330-549-2588 to reserve your dinners.

Col. Louis J. Campbell VFW Post 3538, 157 Lowellville Road, Struthers, will serve spaghetti dinners from 4 to 7 p.m. The cost is $6.50 for adults and $3 for children under 8. Carryout orders are $7 and will be available only until 6 p.m. Containers will be provided.

Market Street Elementary School PTA is hosting a takeout spaghetti dinner from 2 to 6:30 p.m. in the cafeteria, 5555 Market St., Boardman. Dinners are $6 each, $20 for a family pack that will feed four, or $30 for a large order for six or seven people. All orders must be paid by cash or check. VFW Triangle Post 2799, 3161 E. South Range Road, New Springfield, will serve spaghetti dinners from 4 to 7 p.m. Prices are $6 for adults, $3 for children under 12 and $6.25 for carryout. There also will be a raffle. Call 330-542-9928.

FRIDAY

American Legion Post 737, 16465 Milton Ave., Lake Milton, will serve a variety of fish and chicken meals from 3 to 7 p.m. The costs range from $5 to $8.50, depending on adult or child’s ticket and type of meal. For information call 330-654-5630.

Argus Lodge 545, 5050 Shields Road, Canfield, will serve a fish dinner from 4 to 7 p.m. in the fellowship hall at the lodge. Proceeds will benefit the Lodge Education Program. Tickets at the door are $10 for adults and $5 for children 9 and under. Carryout is available; call 330-533-3077.

Canfield Lions Club will have a fish fry from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. at A La Cart Catering, 429 Lisbon St., Canfield. The cost is $11.

Christ the Good Shepherd at St. Joseph the Provider Church, 633 Porter Ave., Campbell, will sell potato, prune and kraut pirogi. The cost is $5 a dozen. Phone orders may be made beginning at 8 a.m. at 330-755-1316, and orders can be picked up starting at noon. Patrons are asked to provide their own containers. No walk-in orders will be available.

Girard Knights of Columbus Council 2935 will sponsor a fish dinner from 4 to 7 p.m. at the hall, 122 S. State St. Dinners will cost $8 for adults and $4.50 for children 4 to 12. Holy Trinity Church, 250 Bridge St., Struthers, will sell potato, cabbage and lekvar pirogi. Orders will be taken from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday and from 8 to 11 a.m. Friday at 330-755-0064. No walk-in orders will be accepted. There is a limit of three dozen cabbage pirogi while supplies last. Orders may be picked up from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday. Containers will be provided.

Holy Trinity Serbian Orthodox Church, 53 Laird Ave., Youngstown, will serve fish dinners from 3:30 to 7 p.m. at the church hall. The cost is $10 for adults and $5 for children. Dessert will be an additional $1.50. Containers will be provided for takeouts. Orders will be accepted from 11 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. at 330-792-1005.

Holy Trinity Ukrainian Catholic Church Hall, 526 W. Rayen Ave., will sell potato and potato with kraut pirogi for $6 a dozen. Orders should be placed from 9 to 11 a.m. Thursday or 9:30 to 11 a.m. Friday at 330-746-9528 and are to be picked up between 10 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Friday. Hot lunches will be available at 11 a.m.

Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish Center, 4500 Norquest Blvd., Austintown, will serve fish dinners from 4 to 7 p.m. Adult dinners are $10, and children’s are $5. There also will be a 50-50 raffle. St. Joseph Immaculate Heart of Mary eighth-grade class trip to New York City will earn 15 percent of all food sales.

National Shrine of Our Lady of Lebanon, 2759 N. Lipkey Road, North Jackson, will be serving fish dinners from 3 to 7 p.m. every Friday during Lent, except Good Friday. The cost will be $11 for adults and $6 for children. Carryouts are available. For information call 330-538-3351.

St. Anne Ukrainian Catholic Church, 4310 Kirk Road, Austintown, will sell potato with cheese pirogi. To order call 330-799-0084 from 8:30 a.m. to noon Thursday and from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday. The cost is $6 per dozen. Pickup will be from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday; no containers are necessary. Walk-ins are welcome. Patrons are asked to use the side entrance.

St. Brendan Church, 144 N. Schenley Ave., Youngstown, will serve sit-down or takeout fish dinners from 4 to 7 p.m. in the church hall. The cost is $10 for adults and $5 for children 12 and under. An extra piece of fish is $5, and extra sides are $3. Luncheon specials from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. are takeout only and include a sandwich and side for $6 or an entire dinner for $10. St Patrick Church, 315 N. Main St., Hubbard, will serve fish dinners from 4 to 7 p.m. Adult tickets are $9 and children’s, $7. St. Paul the Apostle Church, 10143 Main St., New Middletown, will sell potato, sweet cabbage and cottage cheese pirogi for $5.50 a dozen. Orders can be called to 330-542-3525 from 7 to 11 a.m. Thursday and Friday. Pickup will be from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Friday. Walk-ins are welcome.

St. Stanislaus Church, 430 Williamson Ave., Youngstown, will sell potato, kraut and cottage cheese pirogi. Advance orders will be taken from 8 to 11 a.m. at 330-747-3024. Pickup will be from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. The cost is $6 per dozen. Pirogi lunches will be served from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Walk-in orders are welcome.

St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Community, 4453 Warren-Sharon Road, Vienna, will serve its annual fish dinner from 3:30 to 7 p.m. Takeouts are available at 3 p.m. Adult tickets are $9, children’s are $4.50, and kids 4 and under eat free.

SATURDAY

Cortland United Methodist Church, 155 N. High St., will host a corned beef and cabbage or roast beef dinner from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. The cost is $9 for sit-down or takeout meals. For information call 330-637-2571.

Green Township Fire Department will sponsor its annual all-you-can-eat pancake breakfast from 6:30 to 11 a.m. at the fire hall, 12210 Lisbon Road, Greenford. The cost is $6 for adults, $3 for children 6 to 12 and free for kids 5 and under.

New Wilmington Kiwanis Club will host its annual all-you-can-eat pancake day from 7:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Westminster College’s Galbreath Hall Dining Room. Tickets can be purchased from any local Kiwanis member or at the door. The cost is $7 for adults and $3 for children under 12.

VFW Post 2799, 3161 E. South Range Road, New Springfield, will serve a breakfast from 8 a.m. to noon. The cost is $5 for adults and $3 for children under 12 years old.

SUNDAY

Burton-Middlefield Rotary will serve pancakes from 8 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Berkshire High School, 14510 N. Cheshire St., Burton. The cost is $8 for adults and $5 for children 4 to 10. An omelet can be added for $3.

Kinsman Presbyterian Church, 6383 Church St., will serve a roast beef dinner from noon to 2 p.m. Tickets will be sold at the door and are $8 for adults and $4 for children 12 and under. For information call 330-876-4485.

Rotary Club of Warren will host its annual all-you-can-eat pancake breakfast from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Lincoln K through 8 School, 2253 Atlantic St. NE. Tickets are $6; children 6 and under eat for free. The event also will include a bake sale and a 50-50 raffle. Tickets can be purchased from any Warren Rotarian or at the door.

St. Stephen of Hungary Church, 854 Wilson Ave., Youngstown, will host a cavatelli dinner from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. The cost is $9 for adults and $5 for children 6 to 12; kids under 5 eat for free. Extra meatballs, pop and bottled water will be 50 cents each. Tickets will be sold after Mass and at the door. Takeouts will be available.

TAKING ORDERS

First Presbyterian Church of Girard, 890 Church Hill Road, is taking orders for 15-inch pepperoni rolls for $7 each, potato soup and chicken noodle soup for $5 a quart and $3 a pint, and fresh-baked bread for $1.50 a loaf. Holy Apostles Parish is taking orders for kielbasa April 6. Available are Croatian, Hungarian, Polish, Slovak and Slovene kielbasa for $7 per pound. Order forms are available at Sts. Peter and Paul Church, 421 Covington St., Youngstown, or St. Stephen of Hungary Church, 854 Wilson Ave., Youngstown. Completed forms can be placed in the collection baskets at the churches or mailed to the central office, 854 Wilson Ave., Youngstown, OH 44506. Pickup will be from 2 to 6 p.m. April 14 at Sts. Peter and Paul Church.

Sts. Peter and Paul Orthodox Center, 1025 N. Belle Vista Ave., Youngstown, is taking orders for stuffed cabbage and haluski through March 30 at 330-792-7068. Stuffed cabbage is $16 per dozen, and haluski is $5 per quart. Pickup will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. April 5 and will include a bake sale.
