YOUNGSTOWN

Two city men are in the Mahoning County jail after being arrested Friday afternoon in the theft of three televisions, two video-game consoles, jewelry and a puppy.

Jajuan N. Jones, 21, of Silliman Street and Devin M. Bell, 18, of Tyrell Street were arrested after police found them at a house on North Maryland Avenue where three televisions, two Xbox game consoles, Xbox games, movies and a pit-bull puppy were found.

Police were called to an address on North Portland Avenue at 12:52 p.m. for three black males taking a television set and taking it to the house on Maryland.

When police arrived, they found the rear door kicked in at the house on Portland and heard a woman on Maryland yelling for individuals to get out of her house.

The resident of the Portland address came home while police were investigating and identified items taken from her home in the basement on Maryland.

Police gave her back her puppy.
