The economic-development office of the Western Reserve Port Authority has moved to its new office at Penguin Place, 236 North Champion St., adjacent to Youngstown State University and downtown Youngstown.
The office formerly was located in the Youngstown Business Incubator.
“It was important for us to find acceptable space in Mahoning County to balance our presence at the Youngstown-Warren Regional Airport in Trumbull County,” said Sarah Lown, senior manager.
“We also wanted to be connected to YSU and the downtown area, two of the places that are focal points of the Valley’s economic resurgence. Our new location meets both those criteria,” she said.
“Penguin Place provides the space needed to have meetings with the port authority’s economic-development partners, as well as investors, business owners and managers and public officials.”
