High court voids 35-foot abortion clinic buffer

Published: Thu, June 26, 2014 @ 1:26 p.m.

WASHINGTON (AP) - The Supreme Court today struck down a 35-foot protest-free zone outside abortion clinics in Massachusetts. The justices were unanimous in ruling that extending a buffer zone that far from clinic entrances violates the First Amendment rights of protesters.

So when securing a location for a clinic just make sure it is farther off the street. If protesters enter on to the property they are trespassing. No problem.

Good, now before a baby is killed at least someone will be able to try to convince them of their error.

Ladies and Gentleman:

There is a different between having a right to a particular action, and a particular action being legal.

There are many things that are legal, but are not rights. Driving a car, is legal, provided you meet the requirements of your state of domicile.

Driving a car however is not an "inalienable right" or something that cannot be taken away from the individual.

Be careful how you use the word "right".

Auschwitz was legal. Birkenau was legal. Bergen Belsen was legal. Dachau was legal. Pol Pot's killing fields were legal. Slavery was legal.
But they were not right.
Or do we want to dispute that?
If some here can not discriminate between right and wrong, and rely only upon today's definition of legal, then they are the ones with a problem.
