High court voids 35-foot abortion clinic buffer

Published: Thu, June 26, 2014 @ 1:26 p.m.

WASHINGTON (AP) - The Supreme Court today struck down a 35-foot protest-free zone outside abortion clinics in Massachusetts. The justices were unanimous in ruling that extending a buffer zone that far from clinic entrances violates the First Amendment rights of protesters.

So when securing a location for a clinic just make sure it is farther off the street. If protesters enter on to the property they are trespassing. No problem.

Killing unborn babies has become a right in the land of the not so free. It is sad that there is no right to life. I am surprised that they didn't rule that protesting in front of abortion clinics was a form of hate speech.

Good, now before a baby is killed at least someone will be able to try to convince them of their error.

Js it has been a right since the 60s I believe,, and what rights have you lost???? eivo hypothetical question If you tried to enter your church and a crowd of heathens tried to convince you. that you are wrong. what would you do??? Would you stand and discuss it with them? Or would you feel threatened, would you then have the right to defend yourself in any way you felt was needed ???

Auschwitz was legal. Birkenau was legal. Bergen Belsen was legal. Dachau was legal. Pol Pot's killing fields were legal. Slavery was legal.
But they were not right.
Or do we want to dispute that?
If some here can not discriminate between right and wrong, and rely only upon today's definition of legal, then they are the ones with a problem.

So theoldwrench, executing somebody who has done no wrong is right? The most innocent are being slaughtered.

until its illegal right or wrong it is still legal killing Dr.s or other pro choice people is illegal but they still do it should we make that legal? So lets stop the slaughter on our roads by drunks outlaw all forms of alcohol.Tobacco kills 100.000+ people a year outlaw that..Now you will say that this a an adult choice so you then can approve of gay marriage since it is adult choice
