A youth weekend is planned today and Sunday at Mount Calvary Pentecostal Church, 1812 Oak Hill Ave., featuring Elders David Hollis and Nathaniel Green, Suffragan Bishop C. Shawn Tyson and psalmist Marquita Danzy.

Holy Ghost revival


The International Brotherhood of Christian Men will host the fourth annual Holy Ghost Revival Sunday through June 28. A service will be at 4 p.m. Sunday and other services at 7 p.m. Speakers will be Bishop James Kitchen, minister Walter Stewart, Bill Triplet and Pastors David Moncrief Jr., Keith Banks and Roy Jordan.

New pastor welcomed


Faith Fellowship Church of God, 238 Elm St., will welcome the new pastor, the Rev. Jonathan Mitchell and his wife, Joyce, at the 10:45 a.m. service Sunday.

The Mitchells come to Struthers from Centerburg, Ohio, where they pastored for a combined 17 years. They also spent three years in World Missions for the Church of God in several African Nations.The Rev. Mr. Mitchell currently serves on the Ohio State Missions Board for the Church of God.

Trips are planned


Jesus “The Key” Ministry is sponsoring trips, and the proceeds send inner-city children to camp.

June 27 is a trip to The Wilds for a guided bus tour through 500 acres of wild animals. There also is a Passion play in outdoor theater. Cost is $79.

Aug. 13 is dinner theater to see “Life is But a Dream” at Riverside Inn in Cambridge, Pa.
