Information should be submitted two weeks before the school’s opening or its registration deadline. Coalburg United Methodist Church, 1906 Wick Campbell Road, Hubbard: “Weird Animals” is the theme for the activity scheduled from 6 to 8:30 p.m. June 23-27. Children from 3 years old to junior high school may participate in the free prorgram.
Church Hill United Methodist Church, 189 Churchill-Hubbard Road, Liberty: Children from preschool through sixth grade are invited to “Weird Animals, Where Jesus’ Love Is One Of A Kind“ planned from 9 a.m. to noon June 16-20. The free program is open to all children in the community. Registration is requested by calling the church at 330-759-0118 or signing up the first day.
Girard community churches: The session is planned from 9 a.m. to noon June 23-27 at St. Rose School, 61 E. Main St., Girard, for children from 4 years old to sixth grade. Enrollment forms are available at local churches. Registration is required. Participating churches are St. Rose Church, First Christian Church of God, Trinity Lutheran Church, First Baptist Church of Girard and Girard First United Methodist Church. There is a $5 fee. Good Hope Lutheran Church, 98 Homestead Drive, Boardman: “The Agape League, A Superhero Story about the Fruit of the Spirit” is the theme of the program planned from 5:30 to 8 p.m. June 23-27. A show for the community will be at 7:30 p.m. the last day followed by an ice cream social.
Greater Friendship Missionary Baptist Church, 646 Lakewood Ave., Youngstown: “The Amazing Road Trip Jeremiah 29:11” will be presented from 6 to 8:30 p.m. June 23-27 at the church for participants from 5 years old to adults. Pecola H. Hunter is VBS director and Elder James C. Bowie, pastor.
Third Baptist Church, 1177 Park Hill Drive, Youngstown: “The Jesus Connection ... What a Friend” will be from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. June 16-27. The free program is for 4- to 17-year-olds and includes Bible training, crafts, snacks, games, songs and computer activities.
