The Canfield High School coaches, players and the Soccer Boosters are sponsoring the annual Kid’s Soccer Camp on June 16-20 from 6-7:30 p.m. at Herbert Road Park in Canfield. The soccer camp is open to
children ages 5-13. The cost of the camp is $55 per player.
Each day campers will practice passing, shooting, controlled dribbling and defense with an emphasis on individual skills, teamwork, sportsmanship and fun. The campers will be divided into age groups. The camp staff consists of the Canfield High School coaches and players from the boys’ and girls’ high school teams.
Each camper will receive a camp t-shirt. They need to bring a ball, water and wear shin guards each day.
The high school coaches and players running the camp feel that the soccer camp should be a positive experience. They attempt to build self-confidence and soccer skills through a purely educational, enjoyable and recreational atmosphere.
To register for the soccer camp, go to the Canfield High School soccer website, Canfieldsoccer.com, and click on the Kid’s Camp link at the top of the page. Registration deadline is June 9.
