YOUNGSTOWN — Jury selection is underway in municipal court in the aggravated menacing trial of John Dellick, son of Judge Theresa Dellick of Mahoning County Juvenile Court.

Dellick, 19, faces a charge of aggravated menacing for an incident on Nov. 6 on the campus of Youngstown State University, where he is accused of following and threatening an ex-girlfriend.

Dellick also faces similar felony charges in county common pleas court for two unrelated incidents, one involving the ex-girlfriend and the other for a road rage incident, both last year and both in Canfield Township.

When the trial takes place almost 9 months after the incident, it does makes the public wonder if the fix is in.

Why waste time with a trial. If your connected in Youngstown there is no such thing as jail or harsh punishment. I forecast some type of probation, anger management classes, possible house arrest at most. Next time when he really hurts or kills someone he may get a couple months in a local jail
