Hilltop Elementary School students celebrated their last day of school with fun and games on June 9. The students also honored the fourth-grade students at the end of the day with a clap-out as they left the building for the last time.
Each class had a party in the afternoon during which the students played games, such as water balloon toss, races, soccer and corn hole. The students enjoyed their fun and games outside with the help of PTO parent volunteers.
The day was also a hailed as a fourth-grade farewell, with a graduation ceremony, complete with awards, student talents and the fourth-grade video, offered in the morning.
At the end of their last day at Hilltop Elementary, the fourth-grade students paraded through the hallways to the applause of their fellow students, staff and family members. As they exited the building, the celebration carried out into the front of the building, with lots of cheers from both students and parents.
