Published: Fri, July 18, 2014 @ 11:31 a.m.

CAMPBELL

City police are investigating a report of a 31-year-old woman being held against her will for a couple of hours Thursday.

The woman, who lives in the 100 block of Monroe Street, said the father of her child entered her residence through a window, and that he would not leave or let her leave from 8:30 a.m. until almost 10 a.m., when police were contacted.

Officers were unable to find the man, who fled the residence before police arrived. The woman told police that she has a protection order against him and that she fears for her safety.
