CNG fueling station to open in Girard

Published: Fri, July 18, 2014 @ 11:00 a.m.

GIRARD

IGS CNG Services sixth public compressed natural gas fueling station will open at 10 a.m. Tuesday.

The newest station is located at the Mr. Fuel Station on Salt Springs Road just off of Interstate-80 exit 226 in Girard.

“The first of its kind in Mahoning Valley, the station will service a growing number of Ohio businesses and citizens who are converting to natural gas vehicles as a way to save money and use a clean, Ohio fuel,” a release from IGS says.

What a deceptive public statement by IGS. There is no way they can say they are selling ohio fuel since the gas is sold on the open market to the highest bidder. It could be from anywhere but most likely not Ohio. Or was there suddenly a transportation network installed overnight in this state and a law passed saying Ohio gas must be sold in Ohio?
