Given antics of his predecessors, Obama is hardly worst president

Published: Mon, July 14, 2014 @ 12:00 a.m.

Given antics of his predecessors, Obama is hardly worst president

I have read and seen on televi- sion the results of a recent poll that found the majority believed President Obama to be the “worst president” since World War II.

Let’s look at some postwar presidential facts.

Republican President Richard Nixon and his Vice President Spiro Agnew resigned from their offices just before impeachment and imprisonment.

Republican President Ronald Reagan had Iran-Contra, savings and loan crimes, Pentagon and HUD scandals that cost taxpayers millions of dollars.

Democratic President William Clinton’s escapades in the Oval Office cost taxpayers millions of dollars and resulted in no impeachment proceedings.

Republican President George Bush had Enron, Tyco, World Com, Abramoff, Madoff, and Scooter Libby and everyone went to jail. Not to mention the phony facts that led to the Iraq War, which cost trillions in dollars and thousands of American and Iraqi lives. These are facts.

All Obama and his administration want to do is feed the poor, heal the sick, extend unemployment benefits, guarantee equal pay for women, and fight fewer wars, which save us money and lives. And the people feel these are scandals and he is the worst president since 1945? The scandal is that Congress is thwarting his every effort.

The questions to be asked here are: How intelligent were these people (must have been Republicans) or what planet were they from?

David,
You can't be serious. You must have written this letter just to get a reaction. This Liar is the worst POTUS since the Revolutionary War, let alone WWII. Fast and Furious, Benghazi (What difference does it make, IRS scandal, release of 5 terrorists from Guantanamo, Liar care debacle, immigration disaster, War on Coal, Keystone pipeline. Everything this Liar touches is a disaster.

Hey David When did Pa. legalize weed? Because you must be smoking it. This A-hole is the worst president in history.
1) it's all ready been proven that Obammy pays his female staff less then his male staff.
2) He doesn't want to feed the poor, he wants to feed the LAZY ones. 3) More people on welfare, I guess that makes everyone equal in your weed smoked eyes.
4) fewer wars , wrong again , he's already sending troops back to Iraq. So how does that work?

"all Obama & his administration want to do is feed the poor." You're right there David - he created so many more.

I thought this post was from a Ytowner until I saw the NC address. I didn't know they have comedians in NC also.

David is just like Ytowners. He has no idea what's going on in this world.

Obama said, in 2008, that he wants to transform America & has has done a pretty good job so far.

Obama is the shepherd I did notr want.

He leadeth me beside the still factories.

He restoreth my faith in the Republican party. He guideth me in the path of unemployment for his party's sake.

Yeah, though though I walk in the valley of the breadlines, I shall fear no hunger for his handouts are with me.

He annointed my income with taxes, my expenses are runneth over.

Read this post to the end.

Do you Know this Guy?

He is Edward "Ed" Mezvinsky, born January 17, 1937.
Then you'll probably say, "Who is Ed Mezvinsky?"

Well, he is a former Democrat congressman who represented
Iowa's 1st congressional district in the United States House
of Representatives for two terms, from 1973 to 1977.

He sat on the House Judiciary Committee that decided
the fate of Richard Nixon.

He was outspoken saying that Nixon was a crook and a disgrace to
politics and the nation and should be impeached.

He and the Clintons were friends and very politically
intertwined for many years.

Ed Mezvinsky had an affair with NBC News reporter Marjorie Sue
Margolies and later married her after his wife divorced him.

In 1993, Marjorie Margolies-Mezvinsky, then a freshman Democrat in
Congress, cast the deciding vote that got President Bill Clinton's
controversial tax package through the House of Representatives.

In March 2001, Mezvinsky was indicted and later pleaded guilty
to 31 of 69 counts of bank fraud, mail fraud, and wire fraud.

Ed Mezvinsky embezzled more than $10 million dollars from people
via both a Ponzi scheme and the notorious Nigerian e-mail scams.

He was found guilty and sentenced to 80 months in federal prison.

After serving less than five years in federal prison, he was released in
April 2008 and remains on federal probation.

To this day, he still owes $9.4 million in restitution to his victims.

About now you are saying, "So what!"

Well, this is Marc and Chelsea Mezvinsky.

That's right; Ed Mezvinsky is Chelsea Clinton's father-in law.

Now Marc and Chelsea are in their early thirties and purchased
a 10.5 million dollar NYC apartment (after being married in George Soros' mansion).

Forget about trying to make sense to these Yahoo's, Dave. They hate the President, pure and simple, and their puerile fantasy is to see Obama impeached, out of some perverse sense of "fair and balanced," I guess.

Who knows?

They give him zero credit for the accomplishments of his administration, because they don't care what he does.

They hate him for what he is, and for what their fantasies of him are. Simple as that.

That one lunatic's mindless repetition of "What difference does it make?" says it all -- in their fever to denigrate the President, they attribute to him things he never said, or they rip words out of context in a perverse game of NIGYSOB (look it up).

The cacophony of mindless slogans repeated ad nauseum by the right-wingnut tea-bagger cement-heads is not even the least little bit interesting anymore.

The right-wingnuts HATE the FACT that Barack Hussein Obama made sure that Osama Bin Laden (who could have been re-named Osama Been Forgotten for all the attention he got from the Bushies) was hunted down and killed.

The right-wingnuts HATE the FACT that the economy under this President has been brought back from the brink -- instead of plunging over the precipice into a full-blown depression.

The right-wingnuts HATE the FACT that this is the 1st President to successfully begin the reform of our broken health insurance system, a system that left 40 million UNINSURED and benefitted only the for-profit insurance companies.

The right-wingnuts HATE the FACT that this President has diligently pursued policies that protect clean water and air, because right-wingnuts love of poisonous air and water, I guess.

And the list of FACTS about this President that righ-wingnuts HATE goes on and on, like a broken record, as they repeat slogans and catch-phrases that bear no relation to reality, but serve only to insult our President. The concept of loyal opposition is lost on the right-wingnuts, who wallow only in the "opposition" part.

Why?

Because the right-wingnuts HATE our President!

Because the right wingnuts HATE America!

Shame on the disloyalty of the right-wingnuts!

Shame!

Jeff Foxworthy says:

Which side of the fence? If you ever wondered which side of the fence you sit on, this is a great test!

If a Republican doesn't like guns, he doesn't buy one.

If a Democrat doesn't like guns, he wants all guns outlawed.

If a Republican is a vegetarian, he doesn't eat meat.

If a Democrat is a vegetarian, he wants all meat products banned for everyone.

If a Republican is homosexual, he quietly leads his life.

If a Democrat is homosexual, he demands legislated respect.

If a Republican is down-and-out, he thinks about how to better his situation.

If a Democrat is down-and-out he wonders who is going to take care of him.

If a Republican doesn't like a talk show host, he switches channels.

A Democrat demands that those they don't like be shut down.

If a Republican is a non-believer, he doesn't go to church.

A Democrat non-believer wants any mention of God and religion silenced.

If a Republican decides he needs health care, he goes about shopping for it, or may choose a job that provides it.

If a Democrat decides he needs health care, he demands that the rest of us pay for his.

If a Republican reads this, he'll forward it so his friends can have a good laugh.

A Democrat will delete it because he's "offended".
Well, I forwarded it.

Seven lies in two minutes by you know who.........

A quick and reflective stroll down memory lane. The slick orating, teleprompter reading, public misleading new face in politics in full bloom in this video from the archives.

I will make our government open and transparent…..that our business is the people’s business.
I will make it impossible for lobbyists or Congressmen to slip pork barrel projects into law when no one is looking.
Law making will not be done in secret but open to public viewing.
No more secrecy.
Meetings between lobbyists and government agencies will be placed on line for viewing.
The public will have the opportunity to read, on line for five days, bills prior to Presidential signing.
Names of corporations and how much money they would get from tax legislation would be made public. Corporate tax breaks and pork barrel projects will be placed on line with the names of those who asked for them.
Seven lies in two minutes. Should this be submitted to the Guinness book of World Records or is it just an impression of Jon Lovitz’ pathological liar skit on Saturday Night Live? If he knew he was near the record, he could have packed in a few more. (Cutting the budget in half, not adding one dime to the deficit, no more earmarks, no lobbyists in the administration.)

Feds to pay for $50 million resort for illegal alien teens
By Thomas Lifson
Do you wish you were able to afford to go to a resort with pool, sauna, tennis courts, exercise room, sauna, steam room, racketball courts, and all the trimmings? Too bad you aren’t an illegal alien teenager, maybe a member of MS 13. Because your tax dollars (pay up, sucker!) are going to pay for a $50 million magnet resort for them. Kristinn Taylor writes at Gateway Pundit:

The Obama administration has awarded a $50 million contract to a charitable group to buy a Texas resort hotel and transform it in to a 600 bed facility for juvenile illegal aliens.

The beautiful Palm Aire resort and hotel has an indoor Olympic sized pool and an outdoor pool. Free Wi-Fi and cable TV are included in the simply decorated guest rooms.

The Palm Aire Hotel and Suites is set to be sold to Baptist Child & Family Services (BCFS) operating under a federal contract, pending local government approval, according to reports from Weslaco, Texas where the hotel is located. Weslaco is a few miles north of the Rio Grande in Hidalgo County.

The resort hotel for illegal alien children is reportedly the ‘first in the nation’.

Subject: Scary Obituary

Please take a few minutes to read this and pass it forward to those you know. It is pretty interesting....
Enjoy a blessed day!

In 1887 Alexander Tyler, a Scottish history professor at
the University of Edinburgh, had this to say about
the fall of the Athenian Republic some 2,000 years
prior: "A democracy is always temporary in nature; it
simply cannot exist as a permanent form of
government. A democracy will continue to exist up
until the time that voters discover that they can
vote themselves generous gifts from the public
treasury. From that moment on, the majority always
votes for the candidates who promise the most benefits
from the public treasury, with the result that every
democracy will finally collapse over loose fiscal
policy, which is always followed by
a dictatorship."

"The average age of the world's greatest civilizations from the beginning of
history, has been about 200 years. During those
200 years, these nations always progressed through
the following sequence: From bondage to
spiritual faith; From spiritual faith to great
courage; From courage to liberty; From liberty
to abundance; From abundance to complacency;
From complacency to apathy; From apathy to
dependence; From dependence back into bondage.

"The Obituary follows:
Born 1776,
Died 2016

Professor Joseph Olson of Hamline University
School of Law in St. Paul, Minnesota, points out
some interesting facts concerning the last
Presidential election:

Number of States won by:
Obama: 19 Romney: 29
Square miles of land won by:
Obama: 580,000 Romney: 2,427,000
Population of counties won by:
Obama: 127 million Romney: 143 million

Murder rate per 100,000 residents in counties won
by: Obama: 13.2 Romney: 2.1

Professor Olson adds: "In aggregate, the map of the territory
Romney won was mostly the land owned by the taxpaying citizens
of the country.

Obama territory mostly encompassed those
citizens living in low-income tenements and living
off various forms of government welfare..."

Olson believes the United States is now somewhere between
the "complacency and apathy" phase of Professor
Tyler's definition of democracy, with
some forty percent of the nation's population already having
reached the "governmental dependency" phase.

If Congress grants amnesty and citizenship to twenty million
criminal invaders called illegals - and they vote - then we can say
goodbye to the USA in fewer than five years .

If you are in favor of this, then by all means, delete this message.

If you are not, then pass this along to help everyone realize just
how much is at stake, knowing that apathy is the greatest danger to our freedom.

All of these haters voted for bush who inherited the strongest economy this country has ever seen along with the formula for paying off the national debt and he blew it. His economic policies wrecked the economy and drove the DOW down to 6,500. Under Obama's economic policies the DOW closed today over 17,100.

These haters also voted for bush's father who was part of the the saint reagan administration. When Obama took office the country was losing 700,000 jobs a month. Because of Obama's policies more net jobs have been created during his administration than bush the father and bush the idiot son combined.

Speaking of saint reagan, the previous Democratic President Clinton's administrations policies created more jobs than reagan, bush the father and bush the idiot son combined.

The teabagger/republicans brag about polls of 1500 or less people and ignore elections where more than 120,000,000 voted and Obama won by landslides. He would win another election tomorrow because the teabaggers have no one to run against him.

The collapse of the bubble took place during 1999–2001. Some companies, such as Pets.com, failed completely. Others lost a large portion of their market capitalization but remained stable and profitable, e.g., Cisco, whose stock declined by 86%. Right on cue, no rebuttal, just a re-hash of right-wingnut talking points, lies, and distortions.

"a border agent was killed by a gun that was run from Fast and Furious."
Never proven; ballistics analysis - inconclusive. Still, this badly conceived program to trace illegal guns began in 2006, before Obama.

"we were told we could keep our insurance if we liked it period."
What he should have said was "You can keep your insurance unless it's JUNK, then no - you have to get a valid policy."

"what difference does it make"
We hear this slogan ad nauseum. Neither left-wing loonies, nor Democrats, nor the President EVER said this -- in FACT, Hillary said this in response to questions in a hearing: "With all due respect, the fact is we had four dead Americans. Was it because of a protest or was it because of guys out for a walk one night who decided that they’d they go kill some Americans? What difference at this point does it make? It is our job to figure out what happened and do everything we can to prevent it from ever happening again, Senator." Was she was referring to the deaths themselves? No! Shame on you!

"the IRS is used for political with hunts. I wonder how they would feel if they were the ones being audited?"
Actually, "left-wing" groups WERE AUDITED, TARGETED BECAUSE OF KEY WORDS IN THE NAMES OF THEIR ORGANIZATIONS. So get over it! (Right-wingnuts' paranoia is legendary. Everybody is always out to get them.)

"5 terrorists were released from Guantanamo to rejoin the fight."
HA! Gitmo should have been closed years ago, or never opened! It was full of ordinary blokes who were fingered by rivals in their home countries as an easy way to get rid of opponents, or, indeed, anyone they had a grudge against. Sickening that without trial, we have no way of knowing whether these miserable creatures were dangerous or not, except to say that they must be guilty of something since they obviously were arrested and thrown into the hoos-gow.

"the President makes up the laws as he goes along and enforces only those laws that he likes."
Executive actions and signing statements, like Bush 43, Clinton, Bush 41, and the list goes on. Get real!

"the coal industry is being killed for no reason at all."
So, here is what it is all about -- another shill for the fossil-fuel industry trolls newspaper sites churning out PR for the coal and oil companies. Rather than an ideologically pure right-wingnut, here is a paid hack. Sad.

"the Keystone Pipeline is still not being built for a new source of oil."
I don't know about other "left-wing loonies," but this left-wing looney (me) thinks that if more pipelines are NEVER built, it will be too soon.

"The left wing loonies HATE America."

It's pretty obvious who the haters are, don't you think?

"What he should have said was "You can keep your insurance unless it's JUNK, then no - you have to get a valid policy." False, but a fine left wing talking point.

So America are the bad guys and the terrorists are the good guys???

"So, here is what it is all about -- another shill for the fossil-fuel industry trolls newspaper sites churning out PR for the coal and oil companies. Rather than an ideologically pure right-wingnut, here is a paid hack."
This is entirely false but very indicative of how the left wing extremists start with personal attacks when the hear something they don't agree with.

"I don't know about other "left-wing loonies," but this left-wing looney (me) thinks that if more pipelines are NEVER built, it will be too soon."
Try to get it through your thick skull. The oil from Canada is going to get to market whether Tom Steyer likes it or not. It is only a matter of what means of transportation is going to be used.

It really is pretty obvious who the haters are!

The problem with most liberals, on the message board, is that they watch MSNBC and digest everything that is said there. As you know, MSNBC is on the bottom rung of viewership. The very LAST.
MSNBC has guests that are liberals, and everybody agrees with everybody else on the show.A wise man once said "I never learn anything from someone who agrees with me."
On Fox News, there are liberals every night who debate with conservatives. While Fox news has a conservative slant, Fox has many more liberals that appear than MSNBC has conservative that appear.
A new star, in the making on Fox News, is Megyn Kelly. She is not only smart, but goodlooking, and a great debater. She is by far the leader in viewership, on cable news, at 9PM.

There goes stevio again. He's another one who doesn't get it.
He has no idea of what is going on.

We’ve been told by the Democrat Media Complex that WMDs didn’t exist in Iraq, and that George W. Bush started the war against Saddam Hussein based on that false assumption.

Pelosi, for example, said that, “Bush led us into the war on the basis of unproven assertions.” And, let us not forget the moronic Democrat Party meme, “Bush lied, Americans died.”

How could the ISIS terrorists have taken over Saddam’s WMD facility if WMD’s never existed?

Like it or not, George W. Bush has now officially and forever been completely vindicated.

Although numerous Democrats, including Bill Clinton, Hillary Clinton, Al Gore, John Edwards, John Kerry, Nancy Pelosi, and others, claimed from 1998 through 2002 that Hussein had WMDs, they labeled President George W. Bush a liar after the war in Iraq began for having made similar statements, despite the fact that the Democrats overwhelmingly voted for the war.
Every Democrat, including Obama, Reid, Pelosi and Wasserman-Shultz, who called George W. Bush a liar and every other hateful name in the book, including every MSNBC host, owes him a huge apology.

My guess is Mr. Gaibis is is complacent with the current administration because he is obviously willing to "toe the party line" in true "Saul Alinsky" fashion. Remember Alinsky's rule: "Ridicule is mans most potent weapon". So, Mr. Gaibis, if you are good with the "socialist" direction this Country is headed in, with all of the "government entitlements" you list, I hope you don't have children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren who will be paying for those programs, long after we are gone. Furthermore, the one thing that America should fear from this current administration is it's willingness to "target" it's critics with investigations by numerous Federal agencies, thereby causing many who would speak out against the government, to reconsider the value of doing so. And that, my friends, is the beginning of "tyranny", something we should all be terrified of. So, all in all, considering all of the "antics" of prior administrations, I can find none that were so willing, like the current one, to trash the Constitution, and be so blatant in doing so.

Here's more info for you island:

Democrats were the ones who wanted to go into Iraq, beginning with Bill Clinton. They believed there were Weapons of Mass Destruction.

They also weren’t lied to by George W. Bush, they were told exactly what was going on.

When George W. Bush finally went into Iraq, he had the support of the majority of Congress and public opinion was with him. He had formed a coalition of nations to fight Saddam.

Everyone thought Saddam had WMDs. The world thought he had WMDs.

Here are the Democrats who thought Saddam had WMDs, which it turns out he did have, and they were privy to the exact intelligence reports that Bush was privy to:

YEAs — 77
Bayh (D-IN)
Biden (D-DE)
Breaux (D-LA)
Cantwell (D-WA)
Carnahan (D-MO)
Carper (D-DE)
Cleland (D-GA)
Clinton (D-NY)
Daschle (D-SD)
Dodd (D-CT)
Dorgan (D-ND)
Edwards (D-NC)
Feinstein (D-CA)
Harkin (D-IA) Hollings (D-SC)
Johnson (D-SD)
Kerry (D-MA)
Kohl (D-WI)
Landrieu (D-LA)
Lieberman (D-CT)
Lincoln (D-AR)
Miller (D-GA)
Nelson (D-FL)
Nelson (D-NE)
Reid (D-NV)
Rockefeller (D-WV)
Schumer (D-NY)
Torricelli (D-NJ)

When we went into Iraq, there were no great stockpiles of WMDs but the media told the public that there were no WMDs. One thing people don’t realize is that WMDs can be put in suitcases and shipped out, depending on what they are.

The issue of whether there were WMDs was used to demonize Bush and Democrats wanted out. Democrats began to rewrite history, pretending they never supported the war or they were lied to by Bush.

The greatest intelligence failure in the history of the WORLD occurred under Bush on 9/11 costing thousands of American lives..
4 people died in Benghazi, over 4,000 AMERICANS died in Iraq in Bush's fictitious war of Weapons of Mass Destruction.
ObamaCare is a success as it has insured over 8 million more people all while decreasing health care impact on GDP.
Bush embraced illegal immigration, he said, "many of these people are here doing jobs that most Americans don't want to do."
The stock market is at an all-time high!!
Unemployment is DOWN (even though congress refuses to pass a jobs bill.)
Bin Laden is DEAD
GM is ALIVE
The Republicans wanted illegals here to break unions and drive wages down and that is what killed the middle class.

But, he truly has a way to go to be worse than Jimmy Carter, who was truly feckless and a clown. Made the US an embarrassment on the world stage. Say what you want about Reagan, he was presidential and a leader who backed up his words with actions. And, that is the problem with Barack Hussein Obama. He doesn't truly grasp the actual meaning of the Office of President of the United States. A diplomatic outpost in Benghazi is attacked a four Americans killed, he campaigns the next day in Denver. Draw a red line in Syria, and when it is crossed, do absolutely nothing. Our only democratic ally in the Middle East, Israel, continues to get shelled on by the terrorist group Hamas, diss Prime Minister Netanyahu. A civilian airliner gets blown out of the sky by Russians using Russian missiles and technology, go to a $32000 a plate fundraiser. A Tale of Two Patients

Two patients limp into two different medical clinics with the same
complaint. Both have trouble walking and appear to require hip surgery.

The FIRST patient is examined within the hour, is x-rayed the same day
and has a time booked for surgery the following week.

The SECOND sees his family doctor after waiting 3 weeks for an
appointment, then waits 8 weeks to see a specialist, then gets an x-ray,
which isn't reviewed for another week and finally has his surgery
scheduled for 6 months from then pending the review boards decision on
his age and remaining value to society.
Why the different treatment for the two patients?

The FIRST is a Golden Retriever taken to a vet.

The SECOND is a senior citizen on Obamacare...

If there is no change in government in November, we'll all have to find a good vet.

Actions like these are the reasons our enemies think we are a "joke" and continue to act out their aggressions on the world stage, without fear of retribution. They see Hussein decimating our Military, apologizing and bowing down to radical leaders around the world, negotiating with and releasing terrorist leaders for a probable Military deserter, taking over two years to respond to the murder of a U.S. Ambassador in Libya, (and initially lying to the American people, about it) and unable to take care of our own border security, so what's to fear? Please note that all of these quotes pre-date George Bush's election:
-
"One way or the other, we are determined to deny Iraq the capacity to develop weapons of mass destruction and the missiles to deliver them. That is our bottom line."
--President Bill Clinton, Feb. 4, 1998

"If Saddam rejects peace and we have to use force, our purpose is clear. We want to seriously diminish the threat posed by Iraq's weapons of mass destruction program."
--President Bill Clinton, Feb. 17, 1998

"Iraq is a long way from [here], but what happens there matters a great deal here. For the risks that the leaders of a rogue state will use nuclear, chemical or biological weapons against us or our allies is the greatest security threat we face."
--Madeline Albright, Feb 18, 1998

"He will use those weapons of mass destruction again, as he has ten times since 1983."
--Sandy Berger, Clinton National Security Adviser, Feb, 18, 1998

"[W]e urge you, after consulting with Congress, and consistent with the U.S. Constitution and laws, to take necessary actions (including, if appropriate, air and missile strikes on suspect Iraqi sites) to respond effectively to the threat posed by Iraq's refusal to end its weapons of mass destruction programs."
Letter to President Clinton, signed by:
-- Democratic Senators Carl Levin, Tom Daschle, John Kerry, and others, Oct. 9, 1998

"Saddam Hussein has been engaged in the development of weapons of mass destruction technology which is a threat to countries in the region and he has made a mockery of the weapons inspection process."
-Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D, CA), Dec. 16, 1998

"Hussein has ... chosen to spend his money on building weapons of mass destruction and palaces for his cronies."

Check the transcript of Husseins interview on "60 Minutes" the day after Benghazi. He freely admits that he avoided using the word "terrorism" to describe the incident. Then he sends Susan Rice out on five, count 'em, five Sunday news shows to spin the lie that the attack was the result of a "spontaneous demonstration", when they knew it was a planned attack by a group of terrorists. Lies upon lies to protect his false claims that he had the terrorists "on the run". That's really a fine example of a "Commander-in-Chief", trying to minimize the deaths of four Americans, one an Ambassador, just to aid his re-election chances.

Lies, Lies, and More Lies
It took years, but it eventually became clear to most paying any attention that Obama has told so many lies that whatever he says now is deemed worthless. Then, too, his administration is now subject to congressional investigations that include the Internal Revenue Service and the Veterans Administration.

The Attorney General was slapped with contempt of Congress. A key figure in the IRS scandal, Lois Lerner, has pled the Fifth.

The House of Representatives is getting ready to sue Obama for failing to obey the Constitution’s separation of powers. The President’s efforts to ignore the Constitution have been met with an extraordinary number of Supreme Court rebuffs, many of which were unanimous.

How bad is Obama’s situation at present? One indication is the way the news media has been slowly, but steadily falling out of love with him. As Paul Bedard noted recently in the Washington Examiner, “In unprecedented criticism of the White House, 38 journalism groups have assailed the president’s team for censoring media coverage, limiting access to top officials, and overall ‘politically-driven suppression of the news.”

David Cuiller, president of the Society of Professional Journalists, said, “It is up to journalists—and citizens—to push back against this force. Hard!” As a member of the SPJ since the 1970s this is a welcome expression of indignation, but it is also been occurring across a full spectrum of Republicans, Democrats, and independent voters as various Obama policies have negatively affected them.

QUOTE OF THE CENTURY. Some possess the vocabulary to sum things up in a way we can understand. This is a quote from the former premier of the Czwch Repiblic. Obviously, we we have a lot of work to do to repair the damage they have done. "The danger to America is not Barack Obama but a citizenry capable of entrusting a man like him with the presidency. It will be far easier to limit and undo the follies of an Obama presidency than to restore the necessary common sense and good judgment to a depraved electorate willing to have such a man for their president. The problen is much deeper and far more serious than Mr Obama, who is a more sympton of what ails America. Blaming the prince of the fools should not blind anyone to the vast confereracy of the fools that made him their prince. The Republic can survive a multitude of fools such as those who made him their pesident.." VACLAV KLAUS

This is for iajoc:

Democrats were the ones who wanted to go into Iraq, beginning with Bill Clinton. They believed there were Weapons of Mass Destruction.

They also weren’t lied to by George W. Bush, they were told exactly what was going on.

When George W. Bush finally went into Iraq, he had the support of the majority of Congress and public opinion was with him. He had formed a coalition of nations to fight Saddam.

Everyone thought Saddam had WMDs. The world thought he had WMDs.

Here are the Democrats who thought Saddam had WMDs, which it turns out he did have, and they were privy to the exact intelligence reports that Bush was privy to:

YEAs — 77
Bayh (D-IN)
Biden (D-DE)
Breaux (D-LA)
Cantwell (D-WA)
Carnahan (D-MO)
Carper (D-DE)
Cleland (D-GA)
Clinton (D-NY)
Daschle (D-SD)
Dodd (D-CT)
Dorgan (D-ND)
Edwards (D-NC)
Feinstein (D-CA)
Harkin (D-IA) Hollings (D-SC)
Johnson (D-SD)
Kerry (D-MA)
Kohl (D-WI)
Landrieu (D-LA)
Lieberman (D-CT)
Lincoln (D-AR)
Miller (D-GA)
Nelson (D-FL)
Nelson (D-NE)
Reid (D-NV)
Rockefeller (D-WV)
Schumer (D-NY)
Torricelli (D-NJ)

When we went into Iraq, there were no great stockpiles of WMDs but the media told the public that there were no WMDs. One thing people don’t realize is that WMDs can be put in suitcases and shipped out, depending on what they are.

The issue of whether there were WMDs was used to demonize Bush and Democrats wanted out. Democrats began to rewrite history, pretending they never supported the war or they were lied to by Bush.

At the beginning of Husseins statement, the day after the terrorist attack on our embassy in Libya, he tried to lay blame for the attack as a response to the "anti-islamic video", which proved to be a complete LIE! Only at the end of his speech did he use the general term "acts of terror", which any person of normal and common sensibility would equate to "acts of violence" when used in that context. And then, until he had to "backtrack" his "spontaneous demonstration" LIE, did his administration start to address the matter as "terrorism", however I have yet to hear Hussein actually call it what it was, a TERRORIST ATTACK! And then, to add " insult to injury" he waits over TWO YEARS to capture ONE of the terrorists involved in the attack, who was NOT in hiding! And even worse, when questioned about the delay, and the fact that the "bad guy" was giving "face-to-face" interviews with anyone who asked, Hussein had the audacity to explain that "journalists had better resources" than our Military or Law Enforcement, to find and meet with terrorists! What a slap in the face of our HEROS in the Military and L.E.! Lies compounding other lies in this instance, not to mention the I.R.S. scandal, V.A. scandal, border crisis, "Fast & Furious" scandal, " you can keep your Doc & insurance lie", etc. and what have we learned from him about all of this? He likes to shoot pool and have a few beers!

Chessie,
You are on target about BHO. He spoke for five minutes in the Rose Garden about Benghazi and didn't use the word "terror" until the last 30 seconds. He mentioned the attack there four times and never once modified the "attack" with the adjective "terror" but used a generic expression about any act of terror. His exact words:

"No acts of terror will ever shake the resolve of this great nation, alter that character, or eclipse the light of the values that we stand for. Today we mourn four more Americans who represent the very best of the United States of America. We will not waver in our commitment to see that justice is done for this terrible act. And make no mistake, justice will be done."

How about that last punchline about "justice"? Can't get re-elected as the President that prevented terrorism when you have another terrorist attack on Sept 11 on all days. Totally disingenuous, like his entire presidency. But, before you can alter the course of America, you must first destroy America.

Wow! Here's another"prime" example of Husseins incompetence, just coming to light a few moments ago. After Hussein has to appoint a new head of the I.R.S. due to it's targeting of the Tea Party and other conservative groups, and it's former leaders running like rats from a sinking ship, and pleading the "fifth" to avoid telling the truth, it has now been revealed that the alleged "missing e-mails" are suddenly found! And when asked by Congress why he didn't know this, the new I.R.S. Chief says he was told that he was informed that there was a "discrepancy" with Lerners e-mails but no explanation of the "discrepancy" was given to him, at the time. And, supposedly being the guy to fix the I.R.S.'s issues, he doesn't ASK for an explanation, and decides to just testify before Congress that he "doesn't know about the e-mails". Okay, I was born at night, but it wasn't LAST NIGHT....and as dumb as I can be at times, and knowing the HUGE implication of the whole I.R.S. scandal, I'm pretty sure I would have at least asked "what KIND of discrepancies" exist with Lerners e-mails. But nooooo.......Husseins "I.R.S. savior" just bumps along, feigning ignorance, much like Hussein does when these scandals erupt. Hmmm....am I seeing a "theme" here? Husseins a Democrat, Koskinen's a HUGE donor to the Democrats, Cummings ( a Democratic member of the panel investigating the I.R.S. scandal) declaring the investigation a "sham". C'mon, am I the only one putting "2 & 2" together?

Those are old numbers. When BHO took office, the national debt was 10.627T. As of today, the national debt stands at 17.599T, which is an increase of 6.972T or 65.6%. The percentage is lower since he started at a higher debt. But, the real problem is that the current debt is about 74% of GDP. Now, to keep that 74% of GDP constant over the next 25 years, taxes will need to go up 6.5% each year, unless spending is cut. These are numbers put out by the CBO. Since job creation has been dismal the last 6 years, it is not encouraging. Now, if you don't like it, you can pass the blunt to the homie on your left.

Clinton handed that budget surplus and the path for paying off the debt to bush the idiot son and we all know what he did with that.

You claim job creation has been dismal the last six years. When Obama took office we were losing 750,000 jobs a month. If we are now creating 150,000 jobs a month which is a conservative number that is a 900,000 job swing to the good. There have been more jobs created during the Obama administration than bush the father and bush the idiot son combined. Your problem is you're letting the facts confuse you. The numbers are right in front of you but you just ignore them and keep praying to saint ronnie.

Mike....save your breath, skeevoeivo is too lame to understand basic math.

It would be like if you had a credit card and you put 190 percent more spending on the credit card than you earned. When the bill comes you don't pay it and that 190 percent starts collecting interest. Next month when the bill comes you don't pay it again and continue this course for the next eight years. Now the interest is collecting interest.

You don't pay it for four years and then add another 52 percent to the debt all the while interest on interest is adding up by the minute.

After four years you try another approach for the next eight years. By the end of that eight years you are actually paying down your debt but by now the debt and the interest is so high your debt still increases another 37 percent but at least your on the right track.

Now you change strategies and again spend more than you make and along with the interest you raised that credit card debt another 86 percent.

Now you cut your deficit spending in half but after thirty years your dealing with a runaway train. To blame your recent history and ignore the last thirty years that got you where you're at is stupid to say the least.

Anyone with even limited intelligence and a primary grasp on math would understand this and there in lies skeevoeivo's problem.

I would charge things that I didn't even need and give away money to everyone who asked me for some.

Ah, a fun, genteel discussion, for a change.

Let's see, WHTaft... Teddy Bozovelt... Wilson... Hubert Hoover... FDR... Truman... Eisenhower... JFK...(shortened for space limits)

LBJ: Medicare, Medicaid, the evil society undermined families, undermined coinage with coppernickel Johnson Slugs, and set back race relations.

Nixon: appeased Red China, undermined coinage and currency, idiotic price controls.

Ford was no paragon, though I don't recall the specifics just now.

Carter: totally fumbled the economy and foreign relations, continued inflation, and set the first trigger for the destruction of the S&Ls.

Reagan: signed the second triggler for the destruction of the S&Ls, failed to eliminate Dept. of Educationism and Dept. of Energy; wimped out on taming Medicare, Medicaid and the Socialist Insecurity Abomination; 1986 amnesty for illegal aliens, rule 1706, and accompanying measures to reduce US citizens' privacy and liberty.

GHWBush: read my lips extortion increase, "assault" rifle import ban, Ruby Ridge.

Clintoon: Mt. Carmel/Waco massacre, ClintonDoesn'tCare, sexual assaults, vastly increased guest-worker visas 10 months after stock market crash and during tech wash-out and Y2K bust as job markets were worsening, several amnesties for illegal aliens.

Shrub: fumbled detecton of terrorists, unpatriotic act, pushed for even more guest-work visas while job markets were still in the dumps (but only got a couple smaller, more under the table increases).

cousin OhhBummer!: Fast and Furious, ObummerDoesn'tCare with its assaults on everyone's privacy, Benghazi, abuses by IRS and obstruction of justice, NSA egregious snooping on US citizens (they're supposed to spy on foreign governments and operatives), never accessible to the public when he should be and always appearing for photo ops and golfing and fund-raisers when more important issues need immediate attention, the Gates fiasco and other race obsessions including refusal to prosecute New Black Panthers, other attempts at election fraud and obstruction, trade of deserter for 5 terrorist chieftains (might be 1 excuse for that), Keystone XL, war against coal, CO2 hysteria, opposition to free and honest markets within the USA, aid to Hamas and Syrian terrorists, opposition to cutting unconstitutional spending and balancing federal government, shutting down parks in an old old gambit which back-fired amongst everyone but the leftist media, opposition to immigration reform and support of immigration law perversion, belligerent refusal to faithfully carry out the current constitutional immigration laws, continuing efforts to worsen US job markets through taxes and regulations, crippling of US military, appeasement of Putin and Red China and North Korea and Iran, crony socialism run rampant...

Yes, we've had a lot of low-quality presidents (even GWashington made a mistake with the whiskey tax, a mistake which he later repented), but cousin Obummer is the worst.

Actually, after seeing him on a few of the "late night" shows, I do think he'd make a pretty good entertainer, and I'd probably watch his shows, if he kept his politics out of it. Now that I think about it, as President Reagan was a lousy actor, who became an amazing President, the opposite could be said for Hussein!

No. The % of people working is at a record low and the % of people on welfare and receiving food stamps is at an all time high.

Is America a safer place? No, we have had numerous terrorist attacks on our soil, but our President is such a Liar that he won't call them that.

It was five years ago this summer that 20,000 white-collar nonunion workers from Delphi (a leading auto parts company spun off from GM in 1999) had their pensions sabotaged as part of a rotten White House deal with Big Labor. Two court rulings this summer have given the victims hope. Their plight must not be forgotten.

Remember when Washington rushed to nationalize the U.S. auto industry with $80 billion in taxpayer “rescue” funds and avoid contested court termination proceedings? Behind closed doors, the Obama administration’s auto team schemed with labor bosses from United Automobile Workers to preserve union members’ costly pension funds by screwing over their nonunion counterparts.

The federally backed Pension Benefit Guaranty Corp., which had the fiduciary duty to represent the best interests of all the Delphi workers, helped sacrifice the nonunion employees at the UAW altar. While union pensions were topped up with tax-subsidized auto bailout funds, nonunion pensioners were left high and dry.

In addition, the nonunion pensioners lost all of their health and life insurance benefits. The abused workers — most from hard-hit northeast Ohio, Michigan and neighboring states — had devoted decades of their lives as secretaries, technicians, engineers and sales employees at Delphi/GM. Some workers saw up to 70 percent of their pensions vanish.

Last year, the Office of the Special Inspector General for the Troubled Asset Relief Program confirmed what Delphi workers maintained from the start: They were victimized because, in the words of the IG, they had “no leverage.” No crony ties. No deep pockets. No legal representation during President Obama’s closed-door negotiations with Big Labor donors.

As GOP Rep. Mike Turner put it, the IG report gave lie to the White House claim that it did not influence the bankruptcy process. “The administration thwarted the bankruptcy process for a politically expedient outcome,” Turner said. Treasury used “their influence to make certain that the outcome was politically desirable to the administration, and the Delphi salaried retirees (lost) their pensions.”

The Delphi workers have fought for five cruel years to force Treasury and the PBGC to disclose the full truth. The scheming feds have defied the workers’ public records requests and withheld more than 7,000 pages of critical emails and documents from the workers, who’ve been mired in time-consuming litigation that has cost millions of dollars.

Barack Obama appears to be a tormented man filled with resentment, anger, and disdain for anyone of an opinion or view other than his. He acts in the most hateful, spiteful, malevolent, vindictive ways in order to manipulate and maintain power and control over others. Perhaps, because, as a child, he grew up harboring an abiding bitterness toward the U.S. that was instilled in him by his family and mentors…it seems to have never left him.

It is not the color of his skin that is a problem in America .

Rather it is the blackness that fills his soul and the hollowness in his heart where there should be abiding pride and love for this country.

Think: Have we ever heard Obama speak lovingly of the U.S. or its people, with deep appreciation and genuine respect for our history, our customs, our sufferings and our blessings? Has he ever revealed that, like most patriotic Americans, he gets "goose bumps" when a band plays "The Star Spangled Banner," (no. he gets goose bumps when he hears the '''Muslim call to prayer"""(his words)))))or sheds a tear when he hears a beautiful rendition of " America the Beautiful?"
Does his heart burst with pride when millions of American flags wave on a National holiday - or someone plays "taps" on a trumpet? Has he ever shared the admiration of the military, as we as lovers of those who keep us free, feel when soldiers march by? It is doubtful because Obama did not grow up sharing our experiences or our values. He did not sit at the knee of a Grandfather or Uncle who showed us his medals and told us about the bravery of his fellow troops as they tramped through foreign lands to keep us free. He didn't have grandparents who told stories of suffering and then coming to America , penniless, and the opportunities they had for building a business and life for their children.

Away from this country as a young child, Obama didn't delight in being part of America and its greatness. He wasn't singing our patriotic songs in kindergarten, or standing on the roadside for a holiday parade and eating a hot dog, or lighting sparklers around a campfire on July 4th as fireworks exploded over head, or placing flags on the grave sites of fallen and beloved American heroes.

Rather he was separated from all of these experiences and doesn't really understand us and what it means to be an American. He is void of the basic emotions that most feel regarding this country and insensitive to the instinctive pride we have in our national heritage. His opinions were formed by those who either envied us or wanted him to devalue the United States and the traditions and patriotism that unites us.

We'll, Husseins boy Kerry just got back from Israel, thankfully with nothing to show for the trip. He tried his darnedest to get Israel to subjugate to Hamas, even trying to bring in the muslim leadership of Turkey and Qatar (Qatar, you know, the place where Hussein sent the "Taliban Dream Team" for "R&R", after trading them for a possible deserter, who, by the way, has conveniently disappeared from the front pages) and Turkey's leader being a member of the muslim brotherhood. Now there's a group you want trying to negotiate for one our allies, Israel. Hussein is so concerned for the casualties in Gaza, well here's novel idea....TELL 'EM TO STOP FIRING MISSLES INTO ISRAEL!!! But no...Hussein just wrings his hands for the poor "Gaza-ites", who for the last so many years have allowed a terrorist organization like Hamas free rein over their territory, letting them hide their weapon caches in schools, hospitals and parks. You obviously do not know what you are talking about. In 1994, the Clinton Administration gave diplomatic assurances to the Ukraine that we would insure their borders would be secure in exchange for them giving up their nuclear weapons and drastically reducing the size of their army. Boris Yeltsin signed the agreement on behalf of the Russian Federation. Don't forget, in 2005, soon after Barry became a US Senator he and Dick Lugar traveled to Eastern Ukraine and then went to Kiev where they met with the Russians to further expand the nuclear dis-arming to include even more conventional weapons. So, the US took the bite out of the defenses of the Ukraine in exchange for guaranteeing the security of their border. Typical of the community organizer, he has once again not lived up to his promise!

Government Is Destroying our Standard of Living
By Monty Pelerin
Finally, the change in net worth has made the mainstream media. The statistics, as reported in the NY Times, are horrific, as are the implications for the future of the country.

Net worth may be the best single measure of a country's well-being. Median net worth is a reasonable marker for the standard of living. Medians (or averages) are not good measures to capture what is happening at the lowest or highest ends. (More about that below.)

In the simplest terms, net worth is the value of a person's assets minus his liabilities. If this measure is growing, a person is becoming better off. If it is shrinking then that person is becoming worse off, at least in terms of wealth.

Shocking Drop in Net Worth

Conditions economically (and politically) may be getting so indefensible that even the NY Times feels compelled to report them, in this article by Anna Bernasek, which reported:

The inflation-adjusted net worth for the typical household was $87,992 in 2003. Ten years later, it was only $56,335, or a 36 percent decline, according to a study financed by the Russell Sage Foundation. Those are the figures for a household at the median point in the wealth distribution -- the level at which there are an equal number of households whose worth is higher and lower. But during the same period, the net worth of wealthy households increased substantially.

She does not go out of her way to shield the Obama Administration:

171jojuggie(1306 comments)posted 3 months ago

I'm telling you, cambridge & island. You guys have no idea what's going on in this country.

Based on these quick calculations, American's median net worth has been reduced by 60% to 70% from what might have been expected. How is this possible?

There are several reasons. I would argue that most of the blame goes to government:

Government is taking a much bigger share of the economy.
Government understates inflation which results in an overstatement of real GDP.
Taxes are higher, especially on capital gains which are unadjusted for inflation and taxed as if they were true gains.
Government interventions have destroyed the economy's ability to grow.
Government transfer payments have reduced the workforce, spreading a reduced output over more people.
Government's encouragement of the use of debt has created behavior not in the best interests of unsophisticated citizens.
There are other reasons, some that are not related to government although I suspect they have minimal effect. Regardless, the fact is that the U.S. is becoming poorer by the day. For much of this period, people maintained their spending levels by borrowing or consuming capital. The good times of the last twenty years were nowhere near as good as we pretended they were. Now we must pay the piper and hope that government can be reduced back to an affordable level of spending and regulation.

This Knowledge Is Not New

Economists, particularly at the Federal Reserve, are fond of saying their models no longer work.

That is one of the most disingenuous statements ever made by the economics profession. Unfortunately this profession has the same integrity as their masters, the politicians, who basically bought them lock, stock, and barrel.

There is nothing new in economics. The fundamentals of human behavior have not changed. Econometric models evolved to describe history. They were deliberately correlated with outcomes. That was the measure of a "good" model, how well it fit the data.

How about the responses to Husseins latest "impressive" foray into foreign policy and diplomacy? He urges Israel to "ceasefire" and they step up their operations (rightfully so) to eradicate the terrorist organization, Hamas. Then he basically tells Putin that he's going to "hold his breath and stomp his feet" until Russia stops sending troops and artillery to the Ukraine, and his response? More troops and artillery sent to the border of Ukraine. And Iraq and Afghanistan are pretty much under control of the muslim terrorists that Hussein bragged that he had "decimated" and had on the "run". The "bad guys" on the worlds stage have taken note of how weak Hussein has made us, and they are taking full advantage of that fact. Is Obama the most pathetic president in American history? That was a rhetorical question.

Barack Obama promised so much: to heal our racial divisions, slice the deficit, provide health care that was cheaper, more widely available and that would not add one dime to the deficit. More grandly, he promised to stop the rise of the oceans and heal the planet. He was so cool. He was transcendent –an enlightened being -- a “Lightworker” and a “sort of God.”

Yes…well...how did all that work out?

Critics have judged him by his own words and he has been found wanting. The meaningless chant “Yes We Can,” hypnotic to so many during the Obama hysteria, now reads like a high school motivation poster curling at the edges because actually he can’t do (fill in the blank).

The cascade of failures are too numerous to list but a good proxy for all of them is the judgment of Americans. They consider him incompetent; think he isuntrustworthy and lies about major issues, and that he cannot be trusted to make the right decisions. People increasingly are blaming him for the border crisis, the civil war in Iraq, the IRS scandal, our poor standing in the world and much more (and there are still over two years to go).

A recent Quinnipiac poll found Obama is regarded as the worst president since World War Two. And now blame him for the sorry state of the nation. This is divine justice, since he has since the early days of his presidency been blaming others for his mistakes and record of incompetence. Indeed, no president has ever dodged responsibility for his own failings as has Obama. But the ruse can only last so long and the expiration date has been reached.

Obama can already be considered a failure as a president.

So as the Obama presidency (along with America and much of the Free World) spirals down the drain, how has he responded? Has he stepped up his work habits? Perish the thought! He has done the exact opposite.

Conservative groups seeking tax-exempt status had their applications denied by IRS bureaucrats who called them names like “crazies,” “rabid” and other words that can’t be printed in a family newspaper. The tax agency is supposed to be run by nonpartisan, career professionals, but the latest set of emails released by the House Ways and Means Committeesuggest the agency is anything but.

Until the scandal erupted last year, Lois G. Lerner was in charge of the IRS division overseeing tax-exempt organizations. Congressional investigators have spent months sifting through her emails — the ones that didn’t “go missing” — to find out why she or her superiors subjected Tea Party organizations to intimidating questions and delays while applications from equivalent left-wing groups sailed through without a problem.

President Obama dismissed all this as a “phony scandal” and said there was not a “smidgen” of corruption at the agency. He may have spoken too soon.

The smidgens continue to pile up at the IRS. Ms. Lerner’s own words betray not only a lack of professionalism, but deep partisanship.

If investigators conclude that she used the resources and power of the government to carry out a political vendetta, that’s the biggest smidgen yet. It’s an impeachable offense for any government official involved.

If one thing is certain, it is that Ms. Lerner has little regard for taxpayers. While on a sightseeing trip in England in the fall of 2012, she did not use a personal cellphone or pay international roaming rates for her personal calls and messages. She stuck taxpayers with the bill for her complaint that her “retention bonus” was being delayed.

Ms. Lerner earned around $177,000 per year and had hit the statutory limit for her pay grade. “How silly,” wrote Ms. Lerner. “They have to stop my retention pay because I made too much this year and will give me the rest next year in a lump sum.” She knew how to game the system to extract the maximum amount of money from taxpayers.

Ms. Lerner was in Hampstead at the time, which she described as “an Edwardian English village, full of beautiful, huge houses — which have been ruined by letting the hoi polloi live there! These people have ruined everything with their equality push!”

Ms. Lerner told her correspondent that she thought it strange that the English people she met thought America was in decline without considering Great Britain. “They don’t seem to see that they can’t afford to keep up their welfare state, either.”

Ms. Lerner’s correspondent, who isn’t identified in the emails, blamed the “whacko wing of the GOP” and “right-wing radio shows” for the state of the country. “Great,” replied Ms. Lerner. “Maybe we are all through if there are that many [expletives] … . So we don’t need to worry about alien terrorists. It’s our own crazies that will take us down.”

An independent panel appointed by the Pentagon and Congress said Thursday that President Obama's strategy for sizing the armed services is too weak for today's global threats.

The National Defense Panel called on the president to dump a major section of his 2014 Quadrennial Defense Review (QDR) and write a broader strategy that requires the military to fight on multiple fronts at once.

It also said the shrinking U.S. armed forces, which are being downsized to fit that strategy and budget cuts, is a "serious strategic misstep on the part of the United States." The forces' numbers spelled out in Mr. Obama's QDR are "inadequate given the future strategic and operational environment."

The warning comes as Mr. Obama is under criticism from many Republicans and some Democrats for his standoff policy toward Syria and his limited response to a June offensive by an al Qaeda offshoot that has gobbled up swaths of territory in Iraq.

I'm an independent cambridge. I have voted for Truman, Kennedy, Johnson, Clinton (in his 2nd term) but when I saw the background of his Obama's parents, and heard his preacher, and some of his friends, who are now in jail, that was enough for me.

BARACK OBAMA TRIES TO SAVE HAMAS

Khaled Abu Toameh argues that John Kerry’s Gaza diplomacy is intended to save Hamas. And he isn’t alone in holding this view. It is shared, not without reason, by the Palestinian Authority, Egypt, the United Arab Emirates, and Saudi Arabia — all of whom were bypassed by Kerry’s initial diplomatic foray in favor of Turkey and Qatar who support Hamas:

The events of the past few weeks on America’s southern border bring into clearer focus the Obama pledge to fundamentally transform America. By opening our borders to illegal immigrants, and pardoning those illegals already here as he plans through executive order, Obama will create millions of new citizens within a few years to help him transform America into a multicultural vacationland for the world’s footloose homeless with free food, housing, education, entertainment, and healthcare as drawing cards.

Who will pay for this paradise? The American Middle Class, mostly Republicans, of course, whom Obama despises as narrow-minded clingers. And why not? While Republicans and conservatives have been busily painting Obama as weak and indecisive internationally, Obama has in turn sized them up as even weaker. As it turns out Obama’s seeming impotence was only a head feint. He actually couldn’t care less about events in Eastern Europe, Asia, or the Middle East. Most of the so-called Obama administration scandals such as Solyndra, Benghazi, Fast and Furious, IRS, VA, etc. were likewise also uninteresting to him. The Obama prize was always the southern border with its endless supply of faithful, dependent voters.

With the open border drawing millions of loyal new voters into the Democratic Party, liberals will have no problem holding the White House and perhaps also sweeping the House and Senate in 2016. Obama could hand-pick his successor who would ram through radical redistributionist legislation and America’s transformation would be complete.

Who or what is there to stand in Obama’s way?

Issa: More Than 20 Obama Officials 'Lost or Destroyed' E-mails After House Launched Probes
By Joel Gehrke
The revelation that Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services administrator Marilynn Tavenner did not retain her e-mails means that more than 20 witness in the Obama administration to lose or delete e-mails without notifying Congress, according to the top House investigator.

“The Obama administration has lost or destroyed e-mails for more than 20 witnesses, and in each case, the loss wasn’t disclosed to the National Archives or Congress for months or years, in violation of federal law,” House Oversight and Government Reform Committee chairman Darrell Issa (R., Calif.) said of Tavenner’s lost e-mails.

“It defies logic that so many senior Administration officials were found to have ignored federal recordkeeping requirements only after Congress asked to see their e-mails,” he continued. “Just this week, my staff followed up with HHS, who has failed to comply with a subpoena from ten months ago. Even at that point, the administration did not inform us that there was a problem with Ms. Tavenner’s e-mail history. Yet again, we discover that this administration will not be forthright with the American people unless cornered.”

From February of 2010 to November of 2013 — one month after the launch of the HealthCare.gov website, as the Daily Caller’s Patrick Howley noted — Tavenner didn’t maintain copies of her e-mails as required.

“During her entire tenure at CMS, Ms. Tavenner’s CMS e-mail address, which is accessible to both colleagues and the public, has been subject to write-in campaigns involving thousands of e-mails from the public,” CMS wrote to the National Archives and Records Administration, perHowley.

“Therefore, she receives an extremely high volume of e-mails that she manages daily. To keep an orderly e-mail box and to stay within the agency’s e-mail system capacity limits, the administrator generally copied or forwarded e-mails to immediate staff for retention and retrieval, and did not maintain her own copies,” CMS said.

Issa subpoenaed the missing e-mails ten months ago. “The evidence is mounting that the website did not go through proper testing, including critical security testing, and that the Administration ignored repeated warnings from contractors about ongoing problems,” he said at the time. “The American people deserve to know why the administration spent significant taxpayer money on a product that is entirely dysfunctional and puts their personal information at risk.”

Too little, too late, and at this point mostly just "dog and pony show" theatrics. With our air superiority, we could have stomped IS back to the Middle Ages when they were gaining momentum in Syria, but instead, Hussein draws his now "infamous" Red Line, which ends up being a "Pink Line". We have the air power to obliterate all of these muslim terrorist organizations, including Hamas, without putting any more "boots on the ground" other than a few "spotters" to designate targets, we just don't have leadership that has the fortitude to do it. The islamists have no interest in peace or truces, they just want to convert the entire world to islam, or destroy any other religions, a crusade that has spanned the Ages, and until we realize that and are prepared to act accordingly, it won't be long before the "black flags" will be flying on American soil.

The Washington Times reported this week that the Internal Revenue Service provides government salaries, office space, and equipment to NTEU operatives, who ostensibly represent 92,000 IRS employees.

The IRS’ deputy commissioner calculates these union workers spent 573,319 hours in 2012 on NTEU business. That’s the equivalent of 286 full-time employees doing nothing but union labor.

Additionally, the union spent $687,400 on travel — also on the taxpayers’ tab. And who can forget the $4.1 million Star Trek-themed “training” session in Las Vegas four years ago?

On top of the ongoing outlays of time and money, there’s the politics of it all.

Ninety-four percent of NTEU campaign contributions go to Democrats. For whatever reason, Republicans go along for the ride.

“The union naturally wants greater benefits, bigger salaries and more handsome bonuses, so Congress pays the union to do it,” the Times reported.

“With hundreds of thousands of dollars in the bank, union money will flow to candidates as needed to keep the Senate under Democratic control,” the Times predicted.

Barack Obama promised he would preside over the most transparent administration in history. Lackeys in the liberal world even gave him an anti-secrecy award (given to him behind closed doors).

This is the most transparent administration in history...just not the way promised. The only transparency here is how absurdly obvious have been their efforts to hide the truth from Americans.

Freedom of Information Act requests have been routinely ignored-from the very start of Obama’s reign . An Associated Press report found the Obama administration has grown more secretive over time .

He has a contemptuous attitude towards the media (and everyone else) and avoids press conferences and questions. Scrutiny leads to criticism and criticism is anathema to Barack Obama.

Congressional subpoenas are ignored and when the pressure grew too great, Barack Obama shielded Eric Holder from further inquiries related to the Fast and Furious gun scandal with an executive privilege claim - an extreme misuse of a power normally restricted to national security dealings (judges - the ones who have not been Obama’s nominees-are skeptical.)

Stonewalling - with allies in Congress such as Elijah Cummings on the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee and on the Benghazi Select Committee leading the way - is Obama’s natural response to any truth-seekers

The flurry of “lost emails” must be due to some electromagnetic pulse focused only on Washington or as satirist Iowahawk so aptly observed” apparently the leading cause of hard drive failures is subpoenas.”

An Investors Business Daily editorial was spot on:

In a scathing letter to Obama this July, the Society of Professional Journalists decried the "politically driven suppression of news and information about federal agencies." Former New York Times editor Jill Abramson called Obama's "the most secretive White House that I have ever been involved in covering."

And to ensure omerta is upheld, the administration mounted a historic number of criminal leak investigations of sources and whistleblowers.

And yet, Obama has the gall to insist that his is "the most transparent administration in history," adding that "I can document that this is the case."

When Obama read George Orwell's "1984," he apparently thought it was a training manual, not a warning.

Barack Obama’s poll numbers are plummeting -- for many good reasons -- as the midterm elections approach. Republicans naturally are trying to nationalize the election, since the GOP can legitimately claim every Democrat has empowered Barack Obama to fundamentally transform -- that is, damage -- America. Since Barack Obama is increasingly considered a failure -- his former secretaries of Defense and State are both openly criticizing, if not mocking, him (with more to follow as officials seek to rewrite history) -- he and his fellow Democrats are desperate to cling to whatever power and seats they can.

In post 245, cambridge is wrong again. Like his cohorts, iajoc, and island mike, they are very often wrong.

The following is from Oct 2011

CNN) -- President Barack Obama on Friday announced that virtually all U.S. troops will come home from Iraq by the end of the year -- at which point he can declare an end to America's long and costly war in that Middle Eastern nation.
"After nearly nine years, America's war in Iraq will be over," Obama said. "The coming months will be a season of homecomings. Our troops in Iraq will definitely be home for the holidays."
Of the 39,000 troops in Iraq, about 150, a negligible force, will remain to assist in arms sales, a U.S. official told CNN. The rest will be out of Iraq by December 31.
The president said he was making good on his 2008 campaign pledge to end a war that has divided the nation since it began in 2003 and claimed more than 4,400 American lives. The announcement also came after talks that might have allowed a continued major military presence broke down amid disputes about whether U.S. troops would be immune to prosecution by Iraqi authorities.

This incident in Missouri is now starting to have National implications. Some politicians, both Republican and Democrat, now want to disarm our Nations Police. They are contemplating ending a program that allowed Law Enforcement agencies to acquire surplus equipment from the Military. So, when your local Police Department needs more equipment, be it a "bullet resistant vehicle" or fax machine or copier, well I just guess us citizens will have to be taxed even more to pay for this stuff rather than to get it for free from the Feds. Just so we don't upset the citizenry with that "scary stuff"! I don't know about you, but if I ever need my local Police to help me in a life- threatening situation, I want them coming to my aid as quickly as possible, with the best equipment possible, and even better if they got that equipment for free, and I didn't have to pay for it (even though in all reality, I have payed for it through my Federal income taxes). Now that I think about it, it's starting to become apparent that the folks who are against "free stuff" for our cops, are more than likely not paying any taxes, anyway. So why should they care that us "workers", who have jobs, and can't take time off to riot and loot, will have to pay for the "stuff" we were getting for free! Unbelievable! I have an idea...before these politicians stop this program, they need to take away all of the equipment, guns and armored vehicles included, that protect them in Washington! If they are willing to do that, then go for it, stop the program.

Anyone notice how the Vindy has been conspicuously absent of any articles concerning the "race riots" in Missouri? Here we are, on the verge of what could turn out to be riots in our cities across the Nation, the likes of which have not been seen since the Sixties, and yet not a word or a sentence, is being reported by the Vindy? Things that "make you go ...hmmm"! Either way, the situation appears to be out of control, there, and it's not getting any better, even after the supposed "savior" from the Missouri Highway Patrol took over command of the situation. The rioters have attacked the store where the robbery suspect who was killed had robbed, destroying it in an attempt to find and kill it's owner for calling the Police in the first place! All while the M.S.H.P. looks on! And what does The "savior" Capt. Johnson say about this?? "We had to evaluate the security of their Officers AND the RIOTERS!!! WTF?!?!?! I'm all for making sure that your troops are safe, but the last time I checked, RIOTERS and RIOTING are criminal offenses ( at least here in OH), henceforth making those person(s) committing such acts CRIMINALS!! So, Capt. Johnson, put on your "big boy" pants, and carry out your oath to "serve AND PROTECT", even if it means ticking off some of your "bros".

Yeah, it's obvious "political payback" by Hussein for Governor Perry making him look like a fool over the border crisis. How about this drunk Democrat who was the Chief of the Public Corruption unit (can anyone say "irony"?), on video after her arrest, screaming at the arresting Officers and kicking the cell doors, after testing nearly three times the limit for intoxication! And the head of the Texas Dems has the nerve to say Governor Perry "brought shame" to his office? What a sham! It just goes to show you that even though Hussein has done pretty much the same thing as Governor Perry did, using veto powers and his infamous "pen and phone", he has the audacity to bring charges for that, against Governor Perry. And if you don't believe Hussein was the driving force behind all of this, well I've got some swamp land for sale for you in the desert!

No wonder he was selected by Forbes as the most powerful person in the world.

I would suggest that not only our leaders but every citizen of USA should pay attention to this advice. How scary is that?

It is a sad day when a Communist Leader makes more sense than
our LEADERS here in the U.S.A. but here it is!

Vladimir Putin's speech - SHORTEST SPEECH EVER.

On August 04, 2013, Vladimir Putin, the Russian president, addressed the Duma, (Russian Parliament), and gave a speech about the tensions with minorities in Russia:

"In Russia, live like Russians. Any minority, from anywhere, if it wants to live in Russia, to work and eat in Russia, it should speak Russian, and should respect the Russian laws. If they prefer Sharia Law, and live the life of Muslim's then we advise them to go to those places where that's the state law.

"Russia does not need Muslim minorities. Minorities need Russia, and we will not grant them special privileges, or try to change our laws to fit their desires, no matter how loud they yell 'discrimination'. We will not tolerate disrespect of our Russian culture. We better learn from the suicides of America, England, Holland and France, if we are to survive as a nation. The Muslims are taking over those countries and they will not take over Russia. The Russian customs and traditions are not compatible with the lack of culture or the primitive ways of Sharia Law and Muslims.

And I too, would prefer that Hussein stay on the golf course and continue his "bromance" with Alonzo. He can do little harm, there, and the only "leading" he needs to worry about is how much he needs to put on his putt on the eighteenth.

To pretend 9/11 never happened, and think that the lives of the families of the three-thousand Americans killed have not changed, just like the lives of Mr. Folly's family will be forever changed, well that's just irresponsible. But I get your mindset, it doesn't affect you directly, so you're not going to concern yourself with it. And believe me, I'm far from "hiding under my bed", because of it. I say "take the fight" to these killers, and with our "air superiority" and drone attacks, we can wipe them out, without any more "boots on the ground", with the exception of a few "spotters" to ID targets. But I know you liberals don't have the stomach for it, so let this new terror organization, which our own Secretary of Defense claims is "more dangerous and like nothing we have seen before", continue to build and gain momentum, and before long, we'll be asking another President why we didn't wipe them out, before they strike, here.

Matthew VanDyke, an award-winning filmmaker who grew a bond with Foley while covering war zones, said it was “irritating” to see the pictures of Obama laughing with fellow duffers astride a golf cart even as Foley’s parents tearfully discussed their son's murder in a news conference of their own, which was preempted briefly by the president's address.

Let me begin by acknowledging that this inspirational title is lifted from a tweet by screen actor James Woods. And now I will explicate his tweet.
Every sentient human being whose brain isn’t stuffed with ideological fairy dust can see that Obama is behind every major scandal of his administration from Benghazi to the I.R.S. disgrace. How can one know this? Because the culprits haven’t been fired. Moreover, if they are serial liars like Susan Rice, they’ve actually been promoted to posts where their loyalty to the criminal-in-chief can do America and its citizens even more damage, if that is possible.
A president faced with a scandal created by underlings behind his back would be naturally furious at their misbehavior, and want heads to roll. This didn’t happen in any of these scandals because their point of origin was the White House itself. Promoting the culprits is a way of keeping them quiet.
And what exactly is the I.R.S. scandal about — to take just one case? It’s a plan unprecedented in modern American politics to push the political system towards a one-party state by using the taxing authority of the government to cripple and destroy the political opposition. The administration’s campaign to promote voter fraud by opposing measures to stop it (and defaming them as “racist” is guided by the same intentions and desire.

And why shouldn’t Obama want to destroy the two-party system since he is also in utter contempt of the Constitutional framework, making law illegally, and defying an impotent Congress to stop him? Of course every radical, like Obama, hates the Constitutional framework because, as Madison explained in Federalist #10, it is designed to thwart “the wicked projects” of the left to redistribute income and destroy the free market.

The same desire to overwhelm and permanently suppress the opposition drives the war that Obama and the Democrats have conducted against America’s borders and therefore American sovereignty. Their plan is too flood the country with illegals of whatever stripe who will be grateful enough for the favor to win them elections and create a permanent majority in their favor. The immediate result of these efforts is that we have no secure southern border, and therefore no border; and therefore we have effectively invited criminals and terrorists to come across and do Americans harm.

Despite how unsavory and barbaric Islamic groups and persons around the world have been acting—whether Nigeria’s Boko Haram, Mesopotamia’s Islamic State, Somalia’s Shabaab—perhaps few things are as disgusting and cowardly as the Muslim rape of nuns: defenseless Christian women who sacrifice much of their lives to help sick and needy Muslims.

The latest such attack comes from Bangladesh, which is over 90% Muslim in population. In early July, dozens of men armed with machetes, knives and iron rods attacked the convent of PIME (Pontifical Institute of Foreign Missions nuns in Boldipuku), a village mission in north Bangladesh.

In the words of Bishop Sebastian Tudu “the nuns were beaten and molested, ending when police arrived.”

The story won’t spark controversy or make many front pages, but there is some good happening in Ferguson, Missouri, in the aftermath of the unrest following the police-involved shooting death of 18-year-old Michael Brown.

Many local businesses in Ferguson were vandalized, looted, and even set on fire as demonstrators took to the streets to protest the shooting. Sadly, innocent business owners have been left to foot the bills. This is where the St. Louis Tea Party realized they could help.

The group spread the word of the “BUYcott” event on Facebook, hoping to get at least 20 people to show up and spend their hard-earned money at local Ferguson businesses on August 21. They apparently ended up with a group of about 40 “(mostly) white people” — and something amazing happened.

They reportedly targeted small businesses who “were hit hard by violence–violence committed (mostly) by out of town agitators, criminals, vandals, and hooligans.”

Bill Hennessy, one of the tea party members who attended the event, later wrote about his experience in Ferguson and how their presence made residents rethink their preconceived notions of the tea party:

A gentlman (my age) in the salon (husband?) asked who we were with. I told him “St. Louis Tea Party.”

“Tea party?” he said. “You bad boys,” and chuckled. Then he looked at me, very serious. He said, “The tea party came up here to do this?”

“Oh, yeah,” I said. “we don’t want to see Ferguson go south.”

Pelosium:

A major research institution has just announced the discovery of the densest element yet known to science. The new element has been named Pelosium.

Pelosium has one neutron, 12 assistant neutrons, 75 deputy neutrons
and 223 assistant deputy neutrons, giving it an atomic mass of 311.
These particles are held together by dark forces called morons, which are surrounded by vast quantities of lepton-like particles called peons. The symbol of Pelosium is PU.

Pelosium's mass actually increases over time, as morons randomly interact with various elements in the atmosphere and become assistant deputy neutrons within the Pelosium molecule, leading to the formation of isodopes.

This characteristic of moron-promotion leads some scientists to believe that Pelosium is formed whenever morons reach a certain quantity in concentration.

Now the muslim terrorists are planning to use biological weapons of mass destruction, such as weaponized bubonic plague, and what's Hussein's plan to deal with this threat?....."Ummm...I really don't have a plan." WTF?!?!?! Hussein just spent two weeks planning his tax payer-funded, multi-million dollar "soirée" in Martha's Vineyard, yet no plan for dealing with these muslim terrorists who, in their own words, are claiming to "bring these attacks to an area (meaning America) near us!" Hussein sure had a "plan" to be on the golf course, eight minutes after giving a speech about the beheading of James Foley. He also had a plan to send those two racists, Al Sharpton and Eric Holder, to MO, to call for the head of Officer Wilson, and best of all, he sure has a plan to overlook the Constitution, Congress and our Laws, to sign some phony "treaty" about global warming. And, above all, Hussein's Justice Department's most recent report on the "terrorism threat" to the U.S.A. never mentions any threat from "muslim terrorists." You might be quite surprised ...Most of us know of the comparable relationship between Lincoln and Kennedy, but have you ever considered the comparisons between President Obama and President Lincoln?

Parallels of Abraham Lincoln and Barack Hussein Obama.

1.. Lincoln placed his hand on the Bible for his inauguration. Obama used the very same bible Lincoln used for his inauguration.

2.. Lincoln came from Illinois. Obama comes from Illinois.

3.. Lincoln served in the Illinois Legislature. Obama served in the Illinois Legislature.

4.. Lincoln had very little experience before becoming President. Obama had very little experience before becoming President.

5.. Lincoln rode the train from Philadelphia to Washington for his inauguration. Obama rode the train from Philadelphia to Washington for his inauguration.

6.. Lincoln was highly respected by some, but intensely disliked by others. Obama is highly respected by some, but intensely disliked by others.

7.. Abraham Lincoln was a tall, skinny lawyer. Barack Obama WAS a tall, skinny lawyer.

8.. Lincoln held to basic Conservative and Christian views. Obama WAS a tall, skinny lawyer.

9.. Lincoln volunteered in the Illinois militia, once as a captain, twice as a private. Obama WAS a tall, skinny lawyer.

10. Lincoln firmly believed in able persons carrying their own weight. Obama WAS a tall, skinny lawyer.

11. Lincoln was undeniably, and without any doubt, born in the United States. Obama WAS a tall, skinny lawyer.

12. Lincoln was honest - so honest that he was called 'Honest Abe'. Obama WAS a tall, skinny lawyer.

13. Lincoln preserved the United States as a strong nation, respected by the world. Obama WAS a tall, skinny lawyer.

14. Lincoln showed his obvious respect for the flag, U. S. Constitution, and the military. Obama WAS a tall, skinny lawyer.

Amazing isn't it!!

This is a good one EXCEPT Obama is not a lawyer anymore. In 2008, the same year he was elected, he had to surrender his lawyer's license or else face charges and be prosecuted for fraudulent statements he made on his application to get his lawyer's license. The same thing happened to his wife. She was going to be prosecuted for insurance fraud so she surrendered her license too. What a pair ! They're going to have to fumigate the White House when these 2 monkeys leave. That's how much they stink.

Just resign already. Go. Be gone. Vamoose. Get out of our lives. More important: Stop endangering all of us with your self-indulgent vacations and self-absorbed dithering, along with unconstitutional domestic power plays while the whole world burns.

Barack Obama already is derelict in his duties as commander in chief. He ought to abdicate and just step off his self-made throne.

Knowledgeable people were calling for Obama to begin air strikes against the Islamic State barbarians months before Obama could rouse himself to admit that the brutes were something other than “jayvee” terrorists. Because he didn’t, thousands of innocents died, villages were razed, churches were destroyed, thousands more were left homeless, and vast swaths of territory were lost to purveyors of pure, unadulterated evil.

And now, after several years of the Islamic State rising, after half a year of its being obvious that the Islamic State is a new sort of threat, after a couple of months of vicious terror of a sort even this troubled modern world has rarely seen, and after the Islamic State beheaded an American journalist on camera, we have a man pretending to be president who tells the world that the leaders of the globe’s most powerful nation still “don’t have a strategy yet” for the situation.

Words fail.

Meanwhile, Russia invades the sovereign nation of Ukraine. Barack Obama can’t even bring himself to acknowledge that it’s an invasion, much less do anything effective about it. But we can’t say we weren’t warned that Obama would be so compliant with Putin: It was in March 2012, speaking on an open mic to Russian apparatchik-cum-president Dmitry Medvedev, that Obama promised, “After my election, I have more flexibility.” Little did Ukraine know that such “flexibility” would include turning a blind eye to the loss of major parts of its own territory. The West has not even provided military aid to help Ukraine defend itself.

Kiev might be in Ukraine, but the chicken is in the White House.

It's gotta make you wonder why Hussein is so soft on taking these muslim barbarians to task. I mean, c'mon, he bragged and strutted like a peacock, claiming "he" killed Osama Bin Laden, but wait, oh yeah, "he" did that right before an election bid, and since then? Nothing. Sure our Military are making a few air strikes, mostly for "show," blowing up a tank or other artillery piece, here and there, but waiting almost two years to arrest one, I repeat, one of the many terrorists that killed our Ambassador and three other brave Americans in Benghazi, then releasing five, count 'em, five of the "Taliban Dream Team." And now, after the brutal beheading of two more Americans, he doesn't have a "strategy" to deal with this? And now it comes to light that his top advisors and strategists have been telling him about the dangers of ISIS for over a year in his daily briefings? I'm hoping that it is just another example of his total incompetence, because the other explanations, as they become more and more obvious, are incomprehensible. But I will always harken back to his 2007 interview with George Stephanopoulis, where Hussein commented on his "muslim upbringing" and Stephanopoulis had to correct him to say "my Christian upbringing." Freudian slip? I think not, but look up the interview and decide for yourself. I think it's a safe bet that, with our borders so porous, ISIS already has "sleeper" cells, here and f we don't act decisively and quickly, we're in for another attack that's going to make 9/11 look like child's play. But hey, Hussein says we're just dealing with the "JV team."

Now the facts are starting to become clear about the terrorist attack on our Embassy in Benghazi, and it ain't looking good for Hussein and Hillaryous! Finally, the CIA Operators on the ground, a mile away from the Embassy, who were "geared up" and ready to respond, admit they were told to "stand down", and after what was probably an excruciating wait, finally disobeyed the "stand down" orders, but it was too late. And once at the scene, they requested air support, and again were denied! All in an effort to support Hussein's statements that "he decimated al Qaeda and had the terrorists on the run."

AWNA

The AWNA With the *Americans With No Abilities Act (“AWNA”), President Barack Obama and the Democrats are considering sweeping legislation that will provide new benefits for many more Americans.

The Americans With No Abilities Act is being hailed as a major legislative goal by advocates of the millions of Americans who lack any real skills or ambition. "Roughly 50 percent of Americans do not possess the competence and drive necessary to carve out a meaningful role for themselves in society," said California Sen. Barbara Boxer, a prominent role model for people with no abilities, adding "Look at Vice President Biden to see what can happen when someone with no abilities is given a chance."

"We can no longer stand by and allow People of Inability (POI) to be ridiculed and passed over. With this legislation, employers will no longer be able to grant special favors to a small group of workers, simply because they have some idea of what they are doing."

In a Capitol Hill press conference, House Democrat Leader Nancy Pelosi and Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid pointed to the success of the U.S. Postal Service, which has a long-standing policy of providing opportunity without regard to performance. At the state government level, the Department of Motor Vehicles also has an excellent record of hiring Persons with No Ability (63 percent). Under the Americans With No Abilities Act, more than 25 million mid-level positions will be created with important-sounding titles, but little real responsibility, thus providing an illusory sense of purpose and performance. Mandatory non-performance-based raises and promotions will be given to guarantee upward mobility for even the most unremarkable employees.

The legislation provides substantial tax breaks to corporations that promote a significant number of Persons of Inability (POI) into middle-management positions, and give a tax credit to small and medium-sized businesses that agree to hire one clueless worker for every two talented hires.

Finally, the Americans With No Abilities Act contains tough new measures to make it more difficult to discriminate against the non-abled, banning, for example, discriminatory interview questions such as, "Do you have any skills or experience that relate to this job?" "As a non-abled person, I can't be expected to keep up with people who have something going for them," said Mary

A steady stream of misinformation from Faux Noise has warped their brains.

Just as the loooney-bin nut-cases of the 60"s -- the ultra-paranoid John Birchers and their ilk -- morphed into the Baggers of today, so these, too, will pass away, only to be replaced by other wolves in other sheepish disguises.

Obama the worst president? Hardly!

Talk about "warped brains!" Even some of the most "left-leaning" liberals, like Elizabeth Warren are starting to run from Hussein, like he had the plague! Yet there are those who would believe that if Hussein said the moon was really made of cheese, then let's send some "crackers" on the next moon mission! The panic by Husseins administration, after the Benghazi attack, and right after Hussein made his now infamous "terrorists are defeated" statements, just before his re-election bid, was palpable. Scrambling and eventually lying about some "video" causing the attack, which just so happened on a 9/11 anniversary, and we're now not supposed to believe the first-hand accounts of persons who were on the scene? Go ahead, keep believing the "liar-in-chief."

This past Friday, Greta Van Susteren reported on numerous ways the Obama administration has made it difficult for reporters to investigate Benghazi. Van Susteren said that it’s been “like pulling teeth” trying to get answers and that “the Obama administration’s behavior post-Benghazi has been weird; like they’re hiding something.”

She went on to say that as Fox News continued to investigate and press for answers, the administration’s behavior got “even weirder. She noted two major press conferences – one with the State Department and one with the CIA – when Fox News was not invited.

In addition, Van Susteren reported that she was contacted by someone from the administration who told her to dissuade Fox News reporter Jennifer Griffin from continuing to investigate after Griffin reported on the stand down order in Benghazi. Van Susteren said she “thought the call from the Obama administration was dirty.”

Van Susteren further reported that “as recently as April, after the administration said it turned over all the information, an email surfaces that had been withheld in the face of repeated requests.”

Needless to say, Van Susteren is highly suspicious about what is going on and what the administration is trying to hide.

It is glaringly obvious that this administration is extraordinarily secretive and manipulative when it comes to the press. The incident Van Susteren reported on is not the first time the administration has treated the media in a highly inappropriate way, nor is Fox News (though Fox is surely their favorite target) the only media outlet to be on the receiving end of deplorable treatment. I am, however, puzzled as to why Van Susteren is sharing this now, so many months after the fact. I say, expose the left at every turn. Do so in a timely fashion. And hammer away without relent.

There are lots of things that Obama says that he knows will simply fade into oblivion. Did we ever believe that Joe Biden was going to bird-dog abuses in spending for the stimulus to ensure shovel-ready jobs? Did we really believe that Obama would halve the deficit by the end of his first term — or that he would close Guantanamo Bay? Did he really obtain congressional approval for bombing Libya, as he once promised for such operations? Did anyone believe that the Obama administration would not hire former lobbyists or that it would end the revolving door, any more than we believed Obama’s assurances that those who made less than $250,000 would not have any of their taxes go up? What exactly is an Obama step-over line, red line, or deadline?

Obama’s serial rhetorical emphatics — Let me be perfectly clear, Make no mistake about it, In point of fact, You can take that to the bank, I’m not kidding, I’m not making this up — are the usual verbal tics that warn the audience that a complete untruth is to follow.

SCAPEGOATING
Then there is another sort of untruth summed up best as blame-gaming — “They did it, not me!” The president confessed to having no strategy to deal with the Islamic State. But that was the fault of the Pentagon for not yet formulating any. The Islamic State had crept up on us — and that was the fault of the intelligence services. The world is in chaos? The new social networking — the much-bragged-about hip keystone of Obama’s two election campaigns — is to blame for making the gullible believe the world is falling apart. The president had to remove every last soldier from Iraq — but he didn’t really do that; it was either Bush or Maliki. The president ignored his own red lines in Syria? But they weren’t his own: The U.N., not he, made them. The president dubbed the Islamic State the jayvees? No, he actually meant an array of groups.
Such blame-gaming is simply the current foreign-policy manifestation of a long-established Obama-administration trait of blaming dismal news on something other than its own policies: ATMs were responsible for high joblessness; the stimulus failed, but House obstructionism was to blame. The Republican House also blocked immigration reform — which Obama easily could have passed when the Democrats controlled the Congress in 2009–10. Tsunamis and earthquakes, including a mild tremor in D.C. itself, rattled the economy and contributed to the discouraging economic statistics. Bad GDP news? The American people had gotten a bit “soft” and lost “their competitive edge.”

The "irony" is that you, without irony, call their propaganda "news."

Faux is not a "news" channel; the Faux bubble has one purpose, and one purpose only -- to pander to fear and outrage. Their "coverage" of what they call news is a carefully orchestrated shell game played by a chorus of barkers interested only in attracting and holding the attention of their audience, for the purpose of raising ratings.

Outside the Faux"News" bubble, their network -- with its cartoonish indignation over imagined grievances and the sneering tone of its on-screen characters -- is a joke, scorned by anyone interested in serious discussion or analysis.

I "consider" stuff that comes from Faux all the time, but their content never survives even the most rudimentary, superficial scrutiny.

I find most annoying their propensity to repeatedly raise issues that were debunked early and often, marshaling discredited reports in support of their positions on current issues.

Ever hear of Three-Card Monte? That's what it's like trying to follow a story on Faux -- a convoluted shell-game full of twists and turns that are impossible to negotiate on any level other than "Ain't it awful?"

I tune in on a regular basis just to see what outrage-of-the-moment they're blaring.

You want "irony" steivo? The real irony is Colbert's attempt to parody (for the purpose of satire) a "news" channel which has become a caricature of itself, a ridiculous self-parody (sort of the way the "professional" wrestling parodies the sport of wrestling), and you can't really parody a parody, or caricature a caricature. It's too much. It's like putting sauce on a sauce.

Like the Department of Redundancy Department.

BERLIN — PRESIDENT OBAMA’s declaration of war against the terrorist group known as the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria marks a decisive break in the American constitutional tradition. Nothing attempted by his predecessor, George W. Bush, remotely compares in imperial hubris.
Mr. Bush gained explicit congressional consent for his invasions of Afghanistan and Iraq. In contrast, the Obama administration has not even published a legal opinion attempting to justify the president’s assertion of unilateral war-making authority. This is because no serious opinion can be written.
This became clear when White House officials briefed reporters before Mr. Obama’s speech to the nation on Wednesday evening. They said a war against ISIS was justified by Congress’s authorization of force against Al Qaeda after the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks, and that no new approval was needed.

The rising clamor over the beheading of two Americans, and rapidly sinking polls, forced President Obama to reassure the nation last week he had a plan to deal with the Islamic State. He did some of what he had to do, but only some, and so most military analysts believe the expanded airstrikes will not be a sufficient match for the size and weaponry of the terrorist army.

They miss the point. The disjointed speech wasn’t really about terrorism and launching a new war. It was about saving Obama’s presidency.

He is sinking fast and could soon pass the point of no return. In fact, it may already be too late to save the SS Obama.

The whole second term has been a string of disasters, with the toxic brew of his Obamacare lies, middling economic growth and violent global breakdown casting doubt on the president’s stewardship. Six years into his tenure, nothing is going as promised.

Earlier on, he could have trotted out his teleprompters and turned public opinion his way, or at least stopped the damage. But the magic of his rhetoric is long gone, and not just because the public has tuned him out.

They’ve tuned him out because they’ve made up their minds about him. They no longer trust him and don’t think he’s a good leader.

Most ominously, they feel less safe now than they did when he took office. Americans know the war on terror isn’t over, no matter what their president claims.

Those findings turned up in a tsunami of recent polls that amount to a public vote of no confidence

"A former State Department official has told lawmakers that Hillary Clinton allies privately removed politically damaging documents before turning over files to the supposedly independent board investigating the Benghazi terror attack.

The account from Raymond Maxwell, former head of the Bureau of Near Eastern Affairs (NEA), was first published in The Daily Signal. Rep. Jason Chaffetz, R-Utah, confirmed to FoxNews.com on Monday that Maxwell told him and other lawmakers the same story when they privately interviewed him last year about the attacks and their aftermath.

Chaffetz said that Maxwell claimed Clinton's chief of staff and deputy chief of staff were overseeing the document operation, which allegedly took place on a weekend in a basement office of the State Department.

"What they were looking for is anything that made them look bad. That's the way it was described to us," Chaffetz said.

According to Chaffetz' account of his interview with Maxwell, as well as the Daily Signal report by Sharyl Attkisson, Maxwell said those scrubbing the documents were looking for information that would cast Clinton and senior leaders in a "bad light."

The so called CIA agents that claim a guy named bob told them to stand down and are now promoting their book on the fixed noise network have no credibility.

You know who's not lying? The government agencies and the US military that did investigations and say there was no coverup.

Now, when are you going to start talking about the 60 killed in the 13 attacks on our embassy's and consulates during the bush administration or is rupert still having all his sheep stand down?

Here's the list of U.S. Ambassadors killed in the "line of duty":

John Gordon Mein, 1968 - Guatemala

Cleo A. Noel, Jr., 1973 - Khartoum

Rodger P. Davies, 1974 - Nicosia

Francis E. Melody, Jr., 1976 - Lebanon

Adolph Dubs, 1979 - Kabul

J. Christopher Stevens, 2012 - Benghazi, Libya

Two other Ambassadors died in plane crashes, not tied to terrorism.

Curiously, as some would want you to believe to the contrary, none of the above were killed during either of the Bush Presidencies. Not to minimize the loss of life in ANY terrorist attacks on our overseas Embassies or Consulates, but Benghazi involved the murder of a U.S. Ambassador and we've done little, to nothing about it, all for the sake of not making Hussein look like the narcissistic, incompetent, bumbling fool he is.

Oh, I see now...we're supposed to believe the government agencies that were involved in the "coverup", and who investigated themselves to see if there was a "coverup," and their findings that there was no "coverup." Ummm..I was born at night, but it wasn't LAST NIGHT! Maybe those of you who get a "tingle up your legs" every time you see or hear Hussein might buy that explanation, you know, like the Lois Lerner "missing e-mails" fiasco, but not me.

Here is a list of attacks on our embassies and consulates during the bush administration.

January 22, 2002. Calcutta, India. Gunmen associated with Harkat-ul-Jihad al-Islami attack the U.S. Consulate. Five people are killed.

June 14, 2002. Karachi, Pakistan. Suicide bomber connected with al-Qaida attacks the U.S. Consulate, killing 12 and injuring 51.

October 12, 2002. Denpasar, Indonesia. U.S. diplomatic offices bombed as part of a string of “Bali Bombings.” No fatalities.

February 28, 2003. Islamabad, Pakistan. Several gunmen fire upon the U.S. Embassy. Two people are killed.

May 12, 2003. Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Armed al-Qaida terrorists storm the diplomatic compound killing 36 people including nine Americans. The assailants committed suicide by detonating a truck bomb.

July 30, 2004. Tashkent, Uzbekistan. A suicide bomber from the Islamic Movement of Uzbekistan attacks the U.S. Embassy, killing two people.

December 6, 2004. Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. Al-Qaida terrorists storm the U.S. Consulate and occupy the perimeter wall. Nine people are killed.

March 2, 2006. Karachi, Pakistan again. Suicide bomber attacks the U.S. Consulate killing four people, including U.S. diplomat David Foy who was directly targeted by the attackers. (I wonder if Lindsey Graham or Fox News would even recognize the name “David Foy.” This is the third Karachi terrorist attack in four years on what’s considered American soil.)

September 12, 2006. Damascus, Syria. Four armed gunmen shouting “Allahu akbar” storm the U.S. Embassy using grenades, automatic weapons, a car bomb and a truck bomb. Four people are killed, 13 are wounded.

January 12, 2007. Athens, Greece. Members of a Greek terrorist group called the Revolutionary Struggle fire a rocket-propelled grenade at the U.S. Embassy. No fatalities.

March 18, 2008. Sana’a, Yemen. Members of the al-Qaida-linked Islamic Jihad of Yemen fire a mortar at the U.S. Embassy. The shot misses the embassy, but hits nearby school killing two.

July 9, 2008. Istanbul, Turkey. Four armed terrorists attack the U.S. Consulate. Six people are killed.

September 17, 2008. Sana’a, Yemen. Terrorists dressed as military officials attack the U.S. Embassy with an arsenal of weapons including RPGs and detonate two car bombs. Sixteen people are killed, including an American student and her husband (they had been married for three weeks when the attack occurred). This is the second attack on this embassy in seven months.

Oh ya, and the thousands killed by bin lauden on 9/11 after ignoring warnings that he was planing an attack on US soil. After the attack bin lauden's family was allowed to fly out of the US while all Americans were grounded. Shortly after bush allowed bin lauden to escape when our troops had him cornered in Tora Bora so he could invade Iraq on a pack of lies. He later said he had no interest in hunting down bin lauden. Obama did hunt him down and killed him.

Here is what liberals have done to America:

Today, the U.S. Census Bureau will release its annual report on poverty. This report is noteworthy because this year marks the 50th anniversary of President Lyndon Johnson’s launch of the War on Poverty. Liberals claim that the War on Poverty has failed because we didn’t spend enough money. Their answer is just to spend more. But the facts show otherwise.

Since its beginning, U.S. taxpayers have spent $22 trillion on Johnson’s War on Poverty (in constant 2012 dollars). Adjusting for inflation, that’s three times more than was spent on all military wars since the American Revolution.

The federal government currently runs more than 80 means-tested welfare programs. These programs provide cash, food, housing and medical care to low-income Americans. Federal and state spending on these programs last year was $943 billion. (These figures do not include Social Security, Medicare, or Unemployment Insurance.)

>>> INFOGRAPHIC: 9 Facts About How the Poor in America Live

Over 100 million people, about one third of the U.S. population, received aid from at least one welfare program at an average cost of $9,000 per recipient in 2013. If converted into cash, current means-tested spending is five times the amount needed to eliminate all poverty in the U.S.

Obama will have been responsible for more debt, in this country, than all of the other presidents combined. End of debate about Bush & Obama.

NOW THIS:

Due to the popularity of the "Survivor" shows, Texas is planning to do one entitled: "Survivor - Texas-Style!"

The lucky contestants will all start in Dallas, drive to Waco, Austin, San Antonio, then over to Houston
and down to Brownsville. They will then proceed through Mission, up to Del Rio, El Paso, Odessa, Midland,
Lubbock, and Amarillo. From there, they will go on to Abilene and Fort Worth. Finally, back to Dallas.

Each contestant will be driving a pink Prius with 14 bumper stickers, which will read:

1. "I'm A Democrat"
2. "Amnesty For Illegals"
3. "I Love The Dixie Chicks"
4. "Boycott Beef"
5. "I Voted For Obama"
6. "George Strait can’t sing"
7. "Elect Hillary In 2016"
8. "Vote Eric Holder Texas Governor"
9. "I Love Obama Care and Chuck Schumer"
10. "Al Franken Is My Hero"
11. "I Side With Jane Fonda"
12. "It's Bush's Fault"
13. “Islam Is A Peace-Loving Religion

And the last sticker is…

14. "I'm Here To Confiscate Your Guns"

The first contestant to make it back to Dallas alive wins.

VERY INTERESTING:

THE JOKE IS ON US

This is shocking!!!
The Clinton joke is on us…but it is not funny, even if you are a lefty

Read how the joke's on us!

Hillary Rodham Clinton, as a New York State Senator, now comes under
this fancy "Congressional Retirement and Staffing Plan,"
which means that even if she never gets re-elected, she STILL
receives her Congressional salary until she dies.

If Bill out-lives her, he then inherits HER salary until HE
dies. He is already getting his Presidential salary until he
dies. If Hillary out-lives Bill, she also gets HIS salary until
she dies. Guess who pays for that? WE DO.

It's common knowledge that in order for her to establish NY
residency, ***they purchased a million dollar-plus house in upscale
Chappaqua. New York . Makes sense. They are entitled to Secret
Service protection for life. Still makes sense.

Here is where it becomes interesting. Their mortgage payments
hover at around $10,000 per month. BUT, an extra residence HAD
to be built by the Government within the acreage to house the
Secret Service agents. Any improvement to property is owned by
the property owners... the Clinton 's.

SO.....the Clinton 's charge the Federal government $10,000
monthly rent for the use of that extra residence, which is just
about equal to their mortgage payment. ***The ONLY EX-president to
use this loophole. This means that we, the taxpayers, pay the
Clinton 's salary, mortgage, transportation, safety and
security, as well as the salaries for their 12 man staff and
this is all perfectly legal!

When she runs for President, will you vote for her?

How many people will YOU send this to?

"Obama did hunt him (Osama bin Laden) down and killed him." Oh really? What kind of tactics did he use? What choice of weaponry did he use? Does he have a favorite, like the Colt M4 or maybe the Sig Sauer 716 in .308? No, it had to be the Colt, 'cause his puny little frame wouldn't be able to control the Sig Sauer accurately enough to make a "kill shot." Was he using any "helmet-mounted n.v.o.'s," or were they mounted to his "picatinny rail" on his weapon? What ingress and egress battle plan did he employ? The fact is, the only thing Hussein had to do with the actual "killing" of bin Laden was to give some obscure General the "go ahead" word to launch the mission. Brave heroes of our Armed Forces put their lives on the line to take down bin Laden, while Hussein sat, safe and sound, in his White House surroundings, sipping his "chai tea" and "yukking it up" with his groupies. Hussein knew where bin Laden was, almost a year in advance of his approval of the mission to take him out, but waited just long enough, "pre-election" to have that "look at me, I'm so awesome" moment.

The "implications" of having Hussein at the helm for the last seven years are already painfully obvious. Our adversaries and our allies see us as weak and a joke due to Hussein's "leading from behind" policies. He couldn't organize a bake sale, let alone a coalition to fight ISIS, what with his "no boots on the ground" or is it "boots on the ground" or is it "chasing them to the gates of hell" or just making them a "manageable problem?" Hussein's "talking points" are so all over the map, I'm starting to think he's schizophrenic! Hussein's telling us "no troops" but his top Military advisors are saying "can't be done without troops," geez, just pick a stance and go with it, for God's sake!

Bill O’Leary/The Washington Post). The Major General is the highest-ranking officer killed in combat since Vietnam. Neither the President nor the Vice President were present.

The nominal Commander-in-Chief Barack Obama was playing a round at the Vineyard Golf Club with Valerie Jarrett’s cousin, Cyrus Walker, the World Bank president, former President of Dartmouth College Jim Kim, and former lobbyist and ambassador Ron Kirk.

Joe Biden was in the middle of the third day of a week long vacation in the Hamptons, which followed a week in Wyoming, which was preceded by a week at Rehoboth Beach in Delaware.

While America has lost a two-star General who has served in a war the president has waged with one of his patented withdrawal deadlines, the Commander-in-Chief could not show the common decency to honor him with his presence.

This job is above Obama's head, he needs to resign so he can play more golf. Matter of fact his entire cabinet needs to resign as all of them are worthless ...

Obama sent THREE 'representatives' to the funeral of the teen who was shot and killed in Ferguson, MO. Really? Why in the hell didn't he send a 'representative' to comfort and console the parents of James Foley who was beheaded by the butchers of the ISIS??

The disconnect could not be more profound. And the racism from this president is loud and clear.
