Book discussion meeting planned at Salem Public Library
The featured book for the Salem Public Library’s July 22 Adult Discussion Group is “Good Kings, Bad Kings” by Susan Nussbaum.
Nussbaum’s debut book is the 2012 winner of Barbara Kingsolver’s PEN/Bellwether Prize for fiction.
The novel reveals the complex difficulties experienced inside a facility for juveniles with disabilities and is told in alternating perspectives by a varied collection of characters.
Read the book, which may be borrowed from the library, 821 E. State St., then share your insights when the group gathers from 7 to 8 p.m. in room No. 11 at the Salem Memorial Building, 785 E. State St.
Registration is not required, and the discussion is open to the public.
For information, contact the library at 330-332-0042.
