168th Trumbull county Fair Schedule of events

TRUMBULL COUNTY FAIR Schedule of events

The 2014 Trumbull County Fair started Tuesday and runs through Sunday at the county fairgrounds on Everett-Hull Road in Bazetta Township. Adult admission is $8 daily, which includes rides and entertainment.

TODAY

8 a.m.: Admission Gate C, remaining gates open at 10 a.m.

9 a.m.: Junior Fair saddle horse contest show, Sawyer Ring

10 a.m.: Open-class drive-in draft horse and pony/halflinger hitch show, Draft Horse Ring

10:30 a.m.: Junior Fair Livestock sale, Sale Barn

1-5 p.m.: Rides open

2-5 p.m.: Sam and Gary performance; Bicentennial Stage; Tyler Jenkins Trio, Historical Stage

4 p.m.: Truck and Tractor Pull by Full Pull Productions; street licensed semi trucks, 8,000 pounds, Open, diesel, 4 X 4 trucks, farm tractors, 20,000 lb. big rigs semi trucks, tractors, grandstand

6-11 p.m.: Rides open

7-9 p.m.: Relix Band, Bicentennial Stage; Youngstown Connection, Historical Stage

10 p.m.: Gates close

SUNDAY

8 a.m.: Admission Gate C, remaining gates open at 10 a.m.; Junior Fair super showmanship contest

8-11 a.m.: 4-H advisory breakfast, Saddle Horse Area

9-9:30 a.m.: Rooster-crowing contest, across from poultry barn in Oak Grove

10 a.m.: Skillet-toss contest, Draft Horse Ring, registration at 9:30 a.m.

10:30 a.m. to noon: Victory Christian Center church service, Historical Stage

11 a.m.: Cornhole tournament, Oak Grove; registration by 10:30 a.m.

Noon: Cow-milking contest, Milking Parlor

12:30 p.m.: Junior Fair goat dress-up show with goat fun show to follow

1-5 p.m.: Rides open

2 p.m.: Junior Fair dairy cheese auction, Universal Show Ring, Dress a Kow contest and Pee Wee Dairy Showmanship to follow

2-4 p.m.: Kick It Up Cloggers, Bicentennial Stage; Ross Nottingham performance, Historical Stage

5 p.m.: Demolition Derby, Grandstand

6-9 p.m.: Rides open

6:30-8:30 p.m.: The High Water Band, Bicentennial Stage; Fort Huntsburg Band, Historical Stage

8 p.m.: Gates close

9 p.m.: Rides close

9:30 p.m. approximately: Fireworks display to follow Demolition Derby
