Youngstown man faces federal gun charge


CLEVELAND — A federal grand jury has indicted a Youngstown man on a charge of being a felon with a gun.

Marvin T. Howard, 28, is charged with possessing a 9 mm pistol on May 17 after his robbery conviction in Lee County, Ala., the U.S. Attorney said.

The case was investigated by Youngstown police and the U.S. Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives and is being prosecuted by David M. Toepfer, the Youngstown-based assistant U.S. attorney.
