The quaint Philadelphia street known as Elfreth’s Alley is one of the nation’s first residential neighborhoods.
But homes on the cobblestone block rarely turn over, so it’s tough to buy in.
History buffs looking for a place on the National Register of Historic Places now have their chance.
The Philly.com website reports that three Elfreth’s Alley homes are on the market. They range in price from about $650,000 to $850,000.
Elfreth’s Alley dates to 1702, and attracts thousands of tourists a year.
