The recent opening of an in-home care company in Boardman will mean the employment of 45-55 people here by the end of the year.
Outside of the Mahoning Valley, in Cleveland and Canton, there will be two other offices with 150 employees combined at both locations.
Michael Creatore, a local resident and entrepreneur, invested in the Executive Care franchise this year and made Boardman the home base for the three locations.
“I think the Mahoning Valley will see a company that is going to provide a level of care that the main goal is to keep patients in their home,” Creatore said.
The opening of the three locations in Northeast Ohio marks Executive Care’s first agreement to open offices outside of its New Jersey market. These franchises are the company’s fifth, sixth and seventh locations.
Executive Care has been in business for 10 years, offering care and nursing services to those in need of home services.
The company offers 24/7 live-in care and a nursing program.
Employees of the company include registered nurses, LPNs and state-tested nurses’ aides.
The Boardman office opened June 10.
“We are pleased at the progress we are making,” Creatore said.
The Cleveland office is to open in September, and the Canton office is expected to open by next January.
To build clientele, Creatore said there must be relationships with hospitals, nursing homes and assisted-living centers.
Outside of health care, Executive Care also offers homemaking services, companionship for those who need socialization and supervision, personal care and live-in care.
