F.N.B. chooses Pittsburgh as corporate headquarters
F.N.B. Corporation, parent company of First National Bank of Pennsylvania announced it formally named Pittsburgh as its corporate headquarters.
Pittsburgh is the company’s largest market and “has significantly contributed to the company’s $14.5 billion in assets, and with this announcement will become the second largest bank holding company based in Pittsburgh,” according to a press release sent out by the company.
F.N.B. Corporation operates in six states and three metropolitan areas — Pittsburgh, Baltimore, Maryland and Cleveland.
Overall, the company has more than 280 banking offices with more than 84 locations in the Pittsburgh region.
The company employs more than 3,200 employees with 1,800 individuals in Western Pennsylvania, and nearly 800 professionals based in Pittsburgh.
