Walking With Dinosaurs comes to Cleveland’s Quicken Loans Arena Wednesday-Sunday (theqarena.com), and then to Consol Energy Center in Pittsburgh (ticketmaster.com) July 30-Aug. 3. The show features lifelike animatronic dinosaurs, including:
v Tyrannosaurus Rex: The huge, bipedal carnivore.
v Stegosaurus: Jurassic period dinosaur famous for its back plates.
v Allosaurus: Another Jurassic beast, with large and powerful jaws and teeth and a savage bite.
v Velociraptor: A small, feathered carnivore.
v Brachiosaurus: A true giant at 36 feet tall and 56 feet from nose to tail.
“History Detectives Special Investigations” (9 p.m., PBS): Tonight’s episode looks into the wartime disappearance of bandleader Glenn Miller. Watch it if you’re in the mood.
“Finding Carter” (10 p.m., MTV): New drama series follows an abducted teen who returns to her family.
“Restaurant Startup” (10 p.m., CNBC): Prime-time dishes up more food fights with “Restaurant Startup.” It’s a reality series that has contestants pitching their eatery concepts to a pair of investors with the hopes of making their culinary dreams come true.

Outdoors guide for four counties
“Life is Great! Pennsylvania’s Great Lakes Region (PGLR) Hiking-Biking-Water Trails Guide” for outdoor recreational enthusiasts is now available.
The new guide was created by PGLR, a four-county partnership between Crawford, Erie, Mercer and Venango counties that work together to market attractions. The guide will be distributed to Interstate welcome centers, tourism offices, biking-related businesses and regional AAA offices.

‘Little Mermaid’ at Yellow Creek
The 10th year of Yellow Creek Theater, a project of Town One Streetscapes, will begin Friday at dusk with “The Little Mermaid” (1989).
The movie will be screened on the U.S. Route 224 bridge wall behind Poland library. Children’s activities, including Jocko the Clown, will be sponsored by the Friends of the Public Library of Youngstown and Mahoning County. Admission is free, and patrons are asked to bring lawn chairs. Parking is available.

Kite fest for kids with cancer, autism
A free kite festival for autistic and cancer-stricken children will be Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Firestone Park, sponsored by A Way With Words Foundation.
