A South Side man was arrested on a charge of domestic violence after reports said he threatened to cut off his daughter’s head with a sword. Police were called just after 5 p.m. Sunday to a home in the 1300 block of Miami Avenue where the woman told them she and her father, Jerry Duecaster, 74, argued over the television when he pulled a long sword he had and threatened to cut her head off, reports said.
Duecaster left the home, and police were called, but he returned while police were taking a statement from his daughter and was arrested, reports said.
