“Fat & Furious: Rolling Thunder” might be gaining traction.
The reality show that follows the large-and-in-charge speed fanatics at Christmas Automotive in Boardman has garnered good ratings for its first two episodes.
That’s according to Discovery Channel spokeswoman Jackie Lamaj. She didn’t give numbers and said it’s too soon to tell if a second season will be ordered. That decision will be made at a later date.
The Discovery show premiered June 23. Six episodes were taped for the first season.
The third episode airs tonight at 10 p.m., and it’s not too late to hop on board. Each episode stands alone, as the crew acquires left-for-dead muscle cars and restores them to drag racing speeds.
In tonight’s episode, the crew will take on two projects, and both involve Fords.
Dubbed “Mustangs and Mavericks,” the episode will see the crew fix up a 1968 Mustang Fastback GT and a 1971 Ford Maverick, according to tvguide.com.
