City police arrested six people early Saturday on charges of possession of drugs and drug paraphernalia.
Appearing in Campbell Municipal Court at 9 a.m. Tuesday are 21-year-old Angelique T. Zetts of Peters Drive in Campbell; 23-year-old Logan J. McQuade of Mahoning Avenue in Youngstown; 22-year-old Petrosiesous Hazimihalis of Dumont Avenue in Campbell; 18-year-old Kaliope Meris of Sanderson Avenue; 19-year-old Michael P. Hazimihalis of Dumont Avenue in Campbell; and 20-year-old Nicholas E. Lyras of Creed Circle in Campbell.
Police responded to a residence in the 100 block of Creed Circle shortly after midnight Saturday after a neighbor notified officers that the homeowners were out of town, and that multiple people were on the front porch, engaging in what appeared to be drug activity. Upon their arrival, officers noticed furtive movements being made by the six people on the porch, as well as the strong smell of both fresh and burnt marijuana.
Lyras told police that the house belonged to a relative of his. After further questioning, Zetts admitted to police that they'd been smoking marijuana, and showed police a small blunt of burnt marijuana. Police also found a pill bottle containing two unburnt marijuana blunts totaling 0.8 grams and a cigarette pack containing two burnt marijuana cigarettes, along with a container and a modified e-cigarette with suspected marijuana residue.
No one took ownership of the drugs and drug paraphernalia; as a result, all were charged. The six people were transported to the Campbell City Jail, where each was later released on $325 bond.
