Owner of popular restaurant shot, killed

CLEVELAND HEIGHTS

Authorities say the owner of a popular restaurant has been shot and killed during an attempted robbery.

Cleveland Heights Police Chief Jeffrey Robertson says officers were called to Brennan’s Colony restaurant and tavern about 1 p.m. Monday after reports of gunfire in the area. He says officers found business owner Jim Brennan inside with gunshot wounds. Brennan was taken to a hospital where he later died.
