Farmers bank plans giving campaigns
Farmers National Bank has multiple giving campaigns planned for this month.
Farmers is sponsoring the “Farmers Family Diaper Drop: A Cause You Can Get Behind,” where customers are asked to drop off diapers today to July 31 in any size to their local Farmers National Bank office. The diapers will go to local needy families.
Farmers also will give a dollar to Akron Children’s Hospital for every new Twitter follower the company receives on its @farmers-bnkgroup account until 5 p.m. July 31. Participants are encouraged to use the hashtag: #farmerstagalong.
Also, the entire Farmers team has dedicated a two-week focus to support Mahoning Valley charities. In the Northern district — covering offices in Howland, Niles, Eastwood, Girard, Cornersburg, Austintown, Mineral Ridge and Lake Milton — staff will volunteer at the Children’s Rehabilitation Center of Howland, and those working in Farmers’ Southern District — Canfield, Boardman, Poland, Salem, Columbiana and Damascus — will host a “cash and can” drive for Second Harvest Food Bank and Animal Charities until July 11.
