West Branch Schools will serve a chicken and biscuits dinner from 4 to 7 p.m. in the high school cafeteria, 14277 S. Main St., Beloit. Dinner will cost $8 for adults and $5 for children. Carryouts will be available (take containers). During the dinner there will be a basket raffle with more than 3O baskets and a silent auction. Tickets for the baskets are $1 each or six for $5. Winning tickets will be drawn after halftime of the basketball game. Winners need not be present; all winners will be contacted by phone. The dinner and raffle are sponsored by the “Keep US West Branch” levy committee.
Braceville United Methodist Church, 589 Park Road, SW, off state Route 82 in the center of Braceville, will serve stuffed pork chop dinners from 4 to 6:30 p.m. or until sold out. New Waterford United Methodist Church, 46925 S. State St. (Route 46), will host a pasta dinner buffet fundraiser from 4:30 to 6 p.m. There will be a choice of three types of pasta and three sauces.
